Targu Mures | Romania 2016
I only spent less than hour walking around the lovely Romanian city of Targu Mures and this is a short video including all of the footage I was able to take.
Targu Mures has a combined population of both Hungarians and Romanians living together in peaceful harmony.
The city itself was quite beautiful and I wish I was able to spend more time exploring but I had to make it to Cluj Napoca before it got too late.
There is a lot of Habsurg and Hungarian influence that you can see throughout the city with the most noticeable being the tiled rooftops of some of the buildings. Many of those tiles are from the Hungarian city of Pecs and show how deep the tradition of Hungarians living in Romania and Targu Mures really is.
Another interesting thing is that many of the street signs and storefronts are written in the Hungarian language and although many Romanians aren't happy with the Hungarians it seemed to me that everyone was getting along fine despite a tumultuous history.
If you're driving in Romania I would definitely recommend stoping in Targu Mures for a few hours and walking around to check out some of the best that the city has to offer!

nod Iernut - Luduș, pe DN15, 23.09.2020
Vechiul traseu, prin DN15 (E60), alternativ la autostrada A3, din 23.09.2020. În data de 18.09.2020 s-a deschis lotul 2 al secțiunii 2A al autostrăzii A3, constructori Astaldi - Max Bögl.
Am luat ca repere nodul Iernut, respectiv intersecția de la Lupoaica (cu Romulus și Remus) cu DN15 din Luduș.
În 19.09.2020 distanța în timp dintre aceste puncte folosind noul segment al autostrăzii A3 a fost de 13'18 (cu trecere prin parcarea de pe A3 de la sud de Luduș).
Prin DN15 timpul a fost de 17'17, dar și aici se poate scădea drumul de legătură, prin DN14A, până la DN15.
