California: Drive from Hughson to Merced, 5/7/18
A drive on May 7, 2018, on J7/Santa Fe Avenue from the outskirts of Hughson in Stanislaus County ending on G Street in Merced in Merced County.
In Hughson on Geer Road we made a left onto J7/Santa Fe Avenue and headed south. On our way to Merced, we passed through the town of Denair (4:15), left Stanislaus County and entered Merced County (9:17), passed through the town of Ballico (12:53), crossed over the Merced River (16:36), and passed through the towns of Cressey (17:08), Winton (20:00), and Atwater (24:00). On the left is the former Castle Air Force Base, which now includes, among other businesses, the Castle Air Museum (24:33) and the Merced County Castle Airport (25:10). When crossing CA 59 in the town of Merced, Santa Fe Avenue becomes Olive Avenue (31:13). The drive ends at G Street.

California: Drive through Oakdale to Hughson, 5/7/18
A drive on May 7, 2018, on CA 108 into the town of Oakdale and to the outskirts of the town of Hughson. When in Oakdale, we made a left onto South Yosemite Avenue (3:33) and we passed the Sconza Candy Company (6:17), which used to be the Hershey Plant until it closed in 2008. This road changes names to Albers Road after crossing Warnerville Road (6:51), then changes to Geer Road after crossing CA 132 (16:21). We also crossed the Tuolumne River (17:56) and traveled along the outskirts of the town of Hughson (20:25). This video ends after we made a left (south) onto Santa Fe Avenue.

8th Annual Pomegranate, Fruit & Nut Festival
Go NUTS for the 8th Annual Pomegranate, Fruit & Festival! Last year we had over 10,000 people in search of the sweet flavors of the delicious Pomegranate! There will be pomegranate and nut inspired food, cooking demos from local chefs throughout the day incorporating both elements, and educational briefings on pomegranates.
Other popular attractions include a presentation from the Fresno Chaffee Zoomobile, art classes from the Madera County Arts Council, children's games, crafts, face painting, inflatables and a photo booth from the Madera Parks Department. Also returning, is a display of various aircraft as well as skydivers from Madera Parachute Center, the Children's stage featuring local dance, karate and other talented youth, a Fossil Dig hosted by the Fossil Discovery Center of Madera County and a classic car show.
