Walk along Honcho Street, the famous Mt. Fuji Photo Spot | Yamanashi, Japan ???????? | 4K Tour Binaural
???????? Hello! Today, Jiji goes to Fujiyoshida! We started our walk from Mt. Fuji Station and headed to Honcho Street, which is 1.5km away or about 20-minute walk. You may not have heard of the place Fujiyoshida Honcho Street (富士吉田の本町通り), but you probably have seen on social media the photo of Mount Fuji with a charming retro street on the foreground. This is where everyone takes that same shot ????
???? And of course Jiji had to take some photos too! Most of the photos were taken with the Sony FE 90mm f2.8 and a few were taken with the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens. We think our best photos were taken with the Sony FE 90mm because the longer focal length provides compression, making distant objects appear larger and closer together. What to do in Japan in Winter
I spent a week traveling around central Japan, and here are some things you can do in Nagano Prefecture in the winter!
In part 1 of my Japan winter series, I visited the beautiful mountains in Chino and Komagane city in Nagano.
The views at the top of Mt. Kurumayama and Senjojiki Cirque were breathtaking and best of all you can get to the top easily by a ski lift or cable car.
For those who want more of a workout, it's a great starting place to hike to the other mountains in the Japan alps!

Things to do near Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko | 2 day trip in Kawaguchiko
Mt Fuji is one of Japan’s most iconic symbols and one of the best places to view it is in Fuji-kawaguchiko. We’ll show you some things to do near Mt. Fuji and where you can have a full view of Mt. Fuji. These are just some of the MANY things to do in Kawaguchiko.
We stayed at Villa Ururun Kawaguchiko (not sponsored) and we had the perfect view of Mt. Fuji from our villa. We did a full video tour on that and you should definitely check it out to know what I’m talking about. It was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in.

Most of our meals were from conbini (7/11) and not shown BUT we ate at this restaurant called Koshu Hot Kanjukuya Kawaguchiko (not sponsored). The food was sooo delicious and we tried Yamanashi’s specialty, which is HOTO. Definitely recommend coming here!
Kawaguchi Asama Shrine is a world heritage cultural heritage located just 4 minutes by car from our cottage. There are cedar trees that are 1200 years old. Not too far away is the Tenku no Torii. Tenku no Torii, also known as Torii in the sky, is a perfect place to capture Mt. Fuji’s beauty behind the torii.
Lake Kawaguchiko is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes and there are so many things to do in this area! The things we did were the boat excursion and the pedal duck/boat. Other things you can definitely and should do are the Ropeway and visiting the other museums in the area. This area can definitely be a day trip from Tokyo!
Fujiyoshida (Shimoyoshida) is also a great place to visit because it’s super close to Kawaguchiko. We showed you the street where many photographers come to take Mt. Fuji’s photo street view. Check out other places in Fujiyoshida such as Chureito Pagoda and Fuji Q Highland!
Oishi Park is located on the north side of Lake Kawaguchiko and a must visit during Spring, Summer, and Fall. Winter can be dull BUT you get the perfect view of Mt. Fuji and it’s snowcapped peak.
Lastly, we went to Oshino Hakkai, which is my favorite because it just felt so serene and the neighborhood in Oshino reminded me of an older, more traditional Japanese neighborhood. We didn't go to all the ponds, but the view in Oshino Village made up for it.

Best View of Mt. Fuji: Arakurayama Sengen Park & Lake Kawaguchi | Yamanashi, Japan ???? | 4K Walk Tour
???????? Hello! Today, Jiji goes to Fujiyoshida to see Mt. Fuji 富士山! We started our walk from Honcho Street, in which we also did a walking video previously, and then headed over to Arakurayama Sengen Park to see the famous viewing spot of Mount Fuji with the pagoda on the foreground. The distance is about 1.7km or 30 minutes on foot. It may seem like a far walk, but there were a lot of interesting things to see on the way and opportunities to observe Mount Fuji. After that, we took the Thomas-themed train and a bus to get to Lake Kawaguchiko to watch the sunset.
