The reconstructed Altstadt (Old Town) is the site of Römerberg, a square that hosts an annual Christmas market.

Known as a financial hub, Frankfurt has earned the nickname Mainhattan for its New York-like cityscape of high skyscrapers that have risen along the river and Bankfurt for being the seat of the European Central Bank. If you are starting or completing your trip in Germany in Frankfurt, you should plan on staying there for at least a day. One of the best things to do in Frankfurt is to explore the streets of Sachsenhausen and stop at the classic apple wine taverns. Apfelwein, the city's favorite, is a sour apple cider that has undergone fermentation. In addition to being the signature drink of the city, it also serves as the official state beverage in place of beer. Many people wished from me to show the green areas of Frankfurt in one of my upcoming videos, which in general you don't see so often in videos: many beautiful parks, green areas and gardens, which invite you to relax and where you can come to rest and recharge your batteries.
I have taken up this wish with great pleasure and show in this video what you might not have expected from a business city like Frankfurt: many beautiful green spots we have here. I also visit the grounds of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University, the „Holzhausenschlößchen“ and much more. Let me surprise you!
I've been taking the footage for this video between March and October 2020. Then it took me many hours of editing work to create this video.
