I'm off to the Czech Republic to ride some trains and to attend the Rock for People festival. But first, I need to get there. The first day on the train saw me travelling from Exeter to London and then taking this journey from St Pancras International over to Brussels.
I made sure I had plenty of time in St Pancras as any travel video originating at St Pancras must give the station the time it deserves. St Pancras can sit proudly alongside many of the truly great railway stations of the world. Time spent there is never time wasted.

How we enjoyed the Largest Carnival in Netherlands | Tilburg Funfair
The Tilburg Kermis is the largest funfair in the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). It consists of more than 200 attractions and is close to 4.5km long. The funfair takes over the city of Tilburg for 10 days.
The Tilburg Funfair (Tilburg Kermis) is more than just amusement arcade games and thrilling rides - it also involves a giant parade, a theatre fair, markets, fireworks, and music. ????
This year (2021) they held the carnival at 4 different blocks and limited the number of people who can attend each block to 8000 at a time. This is all due to the covid regulations. However, the funfair (kermis) was really fun this year as well amidst all these challenges.
This is our experience at this fun-filled event. Too bad it rained a lot the day we visited. But we could have some quality fun time here.

1 : Ga de voetgangersbrug over en wandel de maria van zimmerenstraat in en ga ten einde naar rechts.
2 : een stukje verder links het bos ingaan waar je het doolhofbord ziet. in het bos de witte paaltjes volgen.
3 : Als je het bos uitkomt wandel terug de kant op vanwaar je komt (maar niet de straat ingaan richting de brug)
4 : volg nu knooppunt 64-62-66
Afstand : 4-5km, (iets langer dan 4 als je vanuit de laguitstraat vertrekt)
Parkeren : einde van de laguitstraat Turnhout.
Horeca : geen
wandeling is goed te combineren met de dombergheide wandeling (zelfde startpunt)
