We are trying to find the most suitable city in the UK to call home. Brighton was the first city we wanted to try because of the location, weather and reputation, so we lived in Brighton and Hove for the past three months. We think Brighton is great and the weather is good for the UK, the shops are super cute too. Let's say we love every bit of it. However, the living cost is pretty high, not dissimilar to London. We paid £1400/month for a one-bedroom flat. Bus tickets are £2.50 for a single trip and parking can be difficult to find if you don't have a resident permit.

The Town of Hanover is located 70 km southwest of OWEN SOUND on the Saugeen River. Settlement began in the area in 1849 when Abraham Buck and his partner cut a trail west of Durham and took up a farm by the Saugeen River.
Hanover is a town in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is located in southwestern Grey County, bordering on Bruce County, west of Durham and east of Walkerton on Grey/Bruce Road 4. Hanover has a city hall, police department and and District Hospital.

Touring Small Town Ontario: Hanover (September, 2020)
Driving through Hanover, Ontario from east to west on Grey County Road 4, aka 10th Street.
Hanover was settled in 1849, originally named Buck's Crossing and Adamstown. It was incorporated as a town in 1904. It is now home to nearly 7,700 residents. The Saugeen River runs through.
Neighbouring Walkerton is just 10 kilometres to the west. Downtown Toronto is 180 KM to the southeast. Owen Sound is 60 KM to the north.
