Hallerbos | Belgium’s Fairytale Bluebell Forest | The Magical Blue Forest in Halle, Belgium
From late April through May, millions of bluebells blanket the Hallerbos, also known as the ‘Blue Forest’ of Belgium, located in the municipality of Halle, 20 km south of Brussels. As far as the eye can see, a flowering carpet brushes up against the slender beech trees in the 1,360-acre forests' unearthly transformation. Visitors can meander the twisting roads while keeping an eye out for deer and bunnies that wander through the lush, emerald woodlands. Though bluebells are not uncommon in Europe, especially in its oldest woods, the Hallerbos is exceptional due to the quantity and quality of its bloom. Today I will take you on a ride across the magical world of bluebells in Hallerbos. Let the journey begin!

Hallerbos Belgium: Wait Until You See This Bluebell Forest In April!
Hallerbos in Belgium is world famous thanks to the flowering bluebells in spring. You have to see it to believe it, and it makes for amazing pictures and videos. Read my article here:
This forest is found near the town of Halle. It often goes viral on social media. When its bluebells bloom, it’s a sight to behold. The forest floor is blanketed in blue. The forest is only 552 hectares in size and located to the south-east of Halle. It’s very accessible thanks to its many hiking paths. There are three routes to follow. I did them all and loved it!
☆★☆ HIKING IN HALLERBOS ☆★☆
Three walking routes have been mapped out. These are not long, but they are perfect for discovering the forest. You can easily hike the two famous Hyacinth walks (4,8 km and 5,1 km).
☆★☆ BEST TIME FOR HALLERBOS ☆★☆
The best time to visit the Haller Forest is late April or early May when the forest floor transforms into a blue sea of flowers. Try and avoid going on the weekend (or go very early in the morning), because it can get busy here.

We had the priviledge to visit the european parliament. The visit is completly free but you need to book your visit via their official website.
The tours lasts for about 2 hours and you will be given a virtual guide that will host you through your visit.

After the parliament visit, leopold park is the closest attraction to visit. The park is animated by a lot of birds, you will surely enjoy
a relaxing walk around the small lake.

Cinquantenaire park is not only a park, but a national landmark in Brussels. The name means 'Park of the fiftieth anniversary'
and it was built during the reign of Leopold II to commemorate fifty years of Belgian independence.

There is a giant arch with two arms extending out which is quite a monumental entrance.
Visitors can climb to the top of the arch for free from an entrance in the army museum to see a nice view of Brussels.
