Dolu lake silchar is located in Dolu Tea Estate around 15 km from Silchar town on Halflong road in Assam. Dolu bagan and dolu lake is a developing tourism and sightseeing spot for the city of silchar and people in the Barak Valley region. The lake has flush gate which exits water over the steps. This a gives a look of a falls. This is a beautiful serene place which is very popular as picnic spot. It is open on all days and entry is free. Dolu lake and tea estate is also a very good spot go for a car drive from silchar. Watch the video as we go past sadarghat bridge then through tea garden on both sides of the road. Nestled in the remote part of our country India near the Bangladesh border a town from the province of Assam is my motherland 'SILCHAR'. This video is my rendition of beauty that lies hidden amongst the congested cacophony of the second most populous town of Assam without going into the region’s decades old history of quiet struggle. Silchar the “gateway” of Barak Valley (named after the river that flows through it) has more then what you see in this video from a full fledged airport to plethora of educational institutions like NIT, Medical college, University etc. As this is a small cinematic rendition I find the visuals best describes the place. An indepth consolidation of a place is better presented by a documentary which I may try some other time. I included few pIaces which are at periphery of the town and visiting Silchar is incomplete without going to those places. I hope with this film I can bring you all here even if it's just for a few minutes.

We went to Bhuban Pahar on 12 th February 2023. In this video you will see latest road conditions of Krishna Pur Road.
I took old route from Hanuman Mandir which you will see in this video. New route from Hanuman Mandir was closed.
No vehicles are allowed to ply to the hill as work on progress by PWD Assam.
Old route is shorter than new route, but narrow and stiff.
Mandir is clean and well managed.
Come and visit the holy place.
