Homeplus (Korean: 홈플러스) is a Korean discount store retail chain running about 140 branches with 25,000 employees throughout South Korea. Homeplus is the second largest retailer in South Korea behind Shinsegae Group's e-mart chain.
Homeplus opened its first hypermarket in Daegu and its second branch in West Busan. In 1999, a joint venture between Samsung C&T and worldwide British retail chain Tesco, ‘SamsungTesco’ was launched, and it has grown into the second largest retailer in Korea by taking over 33 Homever (ex-Carrefour) stores since 2008. On March 1, 2011, due to the expiration of the mutual use contract with the Samsung Group, the corporate name was changed from Samsung Tesco Co., Ltd. to Homeplus Co., Ltd. And on November 22, 2011, the first store of Homeplus 365, a convenience store brand, was opened. In September 2015 the company was sold to MBK Partners, a South Korean buyout firm, which partnered with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Singapore's Temasek Holdings in a transaction worth £4.2 billion. It is headquartered in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea in 2015, and operates a total of 107 hypermarkets and 828 expresses nationwide.
Homever
Homever (홈에버) was a brand name of a hypermarket of E.Land Retail Limited, which is part of the E.Land Group. E.Land Group, the largest operators specializing in fashion and retail business, production and retail corporations in Korea acquired Korean operations of Carrefour in September 2006 to expand the Group's retail presence in Korea. After the acquisition, Carrefour Korea was renamed to Homever. Homever operated 36 hypermarkets with a combined sales area of approximately 112,366 pyung which translates to 371,458 sqm.
Homever was acquired by Tesco in 2008 and all Homever hypermarkets were re-branded as Homeplus.

Gyeongju Drone Flight: Gyeongju is a city on South Korea's southeast coast. It was the capital of the 1,000-year-long Silla Dynasty, and is known for its extensive historical remains.
Cheomseongdae Observatory (첨성대): is an astronomical observatory in Gyeongju, South Korea. Cheomseongdae means star-gazing tower in Korean. Cheomseongdae is the oldest surviving astronomical observatory in Asia, and possibly even the world. It was constructed in the 7th century in the kingdom of Silla, whose capital was Seorabeol, or present-day Gyeongju (경주). Cheomseongdae was designated as the country's 31st national treasure on December 20, 1962. Modeled on Baekje's Jeomseongdae, which now exists only in historical records, the Cheomseongdae influenced the construction of a Japanese observatory in 675, and Duke Zhou's observatory in China in 723.
Daereungwon Tomb Complex (Cheonmachong Tomb) (대릉원(천마총)): (Ancient Tomb No. 155), which was excavated in 1973. Cheonmachong Tomb consists of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, characterized as a typical upper class tomb of the Silla period. The mound has a height of 12.7 m with a diameter of 50 m, and consists of a layer of rocks collected from streams. Below the rock layer is a wooden chamber that is 6.5 m long and 2.1 m wide, reaching 2.1 m in height, with the wooden coffin at its center. A total of 11,526 artifacts were discovered within the tomb, including Cheonmado, an artwork considered highly valuable as it is Korea's first artwork to be excavated from an ancient tomb.
Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond (경주 동궁과 월지):Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond were the secondary palace site which was used by the crown prince. It also served as a banquet site for important national events and important visitors. After the fall of Silla, the site was abandoned and forgotten. The pond was referred to as Anapji during the Goryeo and Joseon period. In the 1980s, pottery fragment with letters “Wolji” (a pond that reflects the moon) carved onto it was found, revealing the true name of the pond. After the discovery, the site was renamed to the current Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond.
Gyeongju National Museum (국립경주박물관):has numerous historical and cultural artifacts of the Silla Dynasty (57 BC - AD 935). The museum recently went through renovation, and the galleries and the exhibition halls have taken on a new look.
Bunhwangsa Temple(분황사) : was built in year 634, during the third year of Queen Seondeok's rule, the 27th ruler of the Silla Kingdom. Prominent Buddhist priests Wonhyo and Jajang resided at the temple.
Gyeongju Hwangnyongsaji (Hwangnyongsa Temple Site) (경주 황룡사지): is the name of a former Buddhist temple in the city of Gyeongju, South Korea. Completed in the 7th century, the enormous 9-story structure was built entirely with wood with interlocking design with no iron nails. Wikipedia
Gyeongju Gyochon Traditional Village (경주 교촌마을) is a hanok village that allows visitors to take a look inside the lifestyle of the Choi Clan, a family known to have remained wealthy for the longest period of time in Korean history. Visitors can see the House of the Gyeongju Choi Clan (Important Folklore Material No. 27) and try some Gyeongju Gyodong Beopju Liquor (Important Intangible Cultural Asset No. 86-3).
Woljeong Bridge or Woljeonggyo (월정교): is a covered bridge located next gyochon traditional village in gyeongju, South Korea.
according to records, Woljeonggyo was originally built during 19th year reign of King Gyeongdeok, the 35th king of Silla.

경상북도 경산시 남산면 반곡리 246번지에 위치한 호수이자 저수지.
남매지와 더불어 경산을 대표하는 못들 중의 하나이다.
예전에는 외반지라 불리기도 했으나, 현재는 통상 반곡지라고 부른다.
전국의 1만7,427개의 저수지가 있으며, 경북이 5,529개, 그 중 경산은 전국 8번째로 저수지가 많다.
반곡지의 유역 면적은 79ha, 저수량은 3만9300톤이다.
호수 주변의 수려한 경관 덕분에 문화관광부에서 선정하는 사진 찍기 좋은 명소 25곳에 가장 먼저 뽑힌 바 있고, 각종 걷기 행사의 코스에서도 빠지지 않는다. 또한 2012년 MBC 아랑 사또전, KBS1 대왕의 꿈, 2014년 영화 허삼관, 2016년 KBS2 구르미 그린 달빛, SBS 달의 연인 - 보보경심 려, 2019년 JTBC 나의 나라, tvN 아스달 연대기, 2021년 SBS 홍천기 등 다수의 사극 작품 촬영이 이곳에서 이루어졌다.
불과 몇 년 전만 하더라도 한적한 시골마을에 있는 작은 저수지였으나, 최근 SNS와 블로그 등을 통해 입소문을 타게 되면서 지역 명소로 급부상하였다. 하지만 위치가 꽤나 외곽에 있어 대중교통으로 가기에는 상당한 불편함이 있다. 따라서 주로 택시나 자가용으로 많이 방문 한다.

Palgong Mountain Provincial Park | Daegu City South Korea
Palgongsan, also Palgong Mountain and previously called Gongsan during the Goryeo Dynasty, is a mountain in Southeastern South Korea, lying on an outlier of the Taebaek range. It stands on the Northeastern border between Daegu Metropolitan City and North Gyeongsang Province. It's peak is 1193m above sea level.
Palgongsan Natural Park (Gatbawi District) is located close to Palgongsan Mountain, one of the larger mountains in the Taebaek Mountain Range. Palgongsan Mountain is located 20km Northeast from downtown Daegu, where Nakdonggang River and Geumhogang River meet. The mountain has three peaks in a row: Birobong Peak in the center and Dongbong (aka 'Mitabong' 1155m) and Seobong (aka 'Samseongbong') on each side.
The park is within the administrative district of Dong-gu, Daegu and has four towns along its border including Yeongcheon-si, Gyeongsan-si and Chilgok-gun. A number of Buddhist Temples including Donghwasa, the headquarters of the 9th Buddhist Parish, are located in the area.
The park has numerous rocks and valleys and is carpeted with azaleas in the spring. In the autumn many visitors flock to the park to admire the falls leaves on the trees lining the 16.3km-long roadway that runs through the park. With vibrant green leaves in spring and a delicate snowscape in the winter, Palgongsan Mountain is an attractive destination for visitors throughout the year.
