Upoznajmo graničare ravnice, općine Gunja i Drenovce
Smješteni u zapadnom Srijemu na lijevoj obali Save, uz sami rub na granici s Bosnom čuvaju svoje običaje i tradiciju. Ovaj prekrasan kraj nazivaju Cvelferija. Naziv Cvelferija potječe iz vojnoga jezika. U doba kada je Hrvatska bila podijeljena na pukovnije, a one na niže jedinice satnije, područje ovih sela činilo je dvanaestu satniju. Od njemačkog zwölf što znači dvanaest ovaj kraj prozvan je Cvelferijom. To su bila sela koja su se nalazila na granici s Turcima, pa su ovdašnji ljudi prozvani Graničari. Budi se Cvelferija sa svim svojim običajima i pričama što dokazuje i manifestacija RASPJEVANA CVELFERIJA tradicionalna folklorno-kulturna manifestacija kojoj je cilj očuvati i promovirati cvelferske plesove i običaje.

Trpeza ovoga kraja široka je kao i srca ljudi. Tu su proizvodi od suhomesnatih delicija, domaćih jaja, kolača, meda, vina, sokova, voćnih rakija i likera do raznih vrsta sireva i začina.

“Knjižnica godine”
Nova Općinska narodna knjižnica Drenovci jedna je od rijetkih ustanova na području Hrvatske koja je iz temelja namjenskih građena i opremana. Priznanje “Knjižnica godine” zasigurno je najveća i najznačajnija nagrada koju jedna knjižnica može dobiti.
Fond knjižnice broji nešto više od 38,000 primjeraka, što je prema standardima za narodne knjižnice više nego dva puta veći broj od očekivanoga. Ova prekrasna knjižnica je mjesto susreta, učenja , zabave, obrazovanja. Za one najmlađe od 3 do 6 godina postoji igraonica “Ne idem još u školu, ali idem u knjižnicu” i dajemo sve pohvale za ovu kreativnu ideju.
Povijest
Još prije 115 godina davne 1906 god. osnovana je Drenovačka knjižnica i čitaonica na čijim je temeljima izgrađena nova i suvremeno opremljena knjižnica.

Stadion od cigli poplavljenih kuća
Gunja-sudbinski vezana uz rijeku Savu koja je 2014 god. probila nasip i poplavila. Hrabri ljudi velikog srca , široke duše dobili su novi stadion. Stadion ponosno stoji u svoj svojoj ljepoti kao spomenik tragediji. U njega je ugrađeno 12,000 cigli iz poplavom uništenih kuća.
Ovo je najljepši mali stadion koji ćete vidjeti - vjerujte.
Ono šta je poplava napravila tim dragim ljudima je toliko tužno i toliko žalosno da kada dođete na ovo područje dođe Vam da im se naklonite. i.
Općina Gunja i Drenovci nisu Vam možda usput i nisu toliko atraktivne kao neke druge destinacije ali vjerujte trebate ih posjetiti.

Posjetite Šumanovce, Svetište skrovite Gospe Šumanovačke, smješteno na tromeđi Gunja-Drenovci-Đurići koje datira iz 14. stoljeća. Tišina i mir hrastove šume, cvrkut ptica, vjetar u krošnjama i sunčane zrake čine jedan poseban ugođaj.
U 2023 godini svetište će proslaviti 650 godina postojanja. Stotinjak metara od crkve je u zaštićenom dijelu hrastove šume kapelica i bunar s ljekovitom vodom.

The Golden Highlands of Papuk | Destination Guide | Croatia
On the southern slopes of Papuk in the Požega valley, there is an oasis of
greenery Zlatni Papuk. An area that in the distant past was an island in the
middle of the Pannonian Sea.
If you want to learn more about the missing Pannonian Sea, visit the House of
the Pannonian Sea visitor and educational center in Velika. With state-of-the-
art technology, you can find out what life used to be like in those areas and
what remains of it today.
Town of Velika
The town of Velika is the recreational and tourist center of this destination, it is
located at an altitude of 273 meters above sea level and is a true oasis of
greenery.
Shhhuma Aquapark
Here you can enjoy the first aquapark in Slavonia – Shhhuma Aquapark.
Located in the heart of the Papuk Nature Park, it offers the opportunity for all-
day fun in six swimming pools, three slides, a childrens water tower and splash
pad, as well as restaurants and bars.
In addition to the beautiful water park that you can enjoy all day, here is also
the main hiking starting point for the 954-meter-high Papuk mountain. One of
the favorite picnic spots in the Zlatni Papuk area is the Jankovac Forest Park,
located in the very heart of Papuk, which is a protected area of special
harmonious beauty and lush vegetation, and is best known for the 35-meter
high Skakavac waterfall and two Jankovac lakes.
The Tourist Board Zlatni Papuk is on the map of every adventurer and active
holiday lover for a reason. In addition to walking and hiking, this area can also
be explored by bicycle paths that pass through the park area from Jankovac to
Velika, and in addition to unforgettable natural beauty, arranged bicycle routes
pass by many cultural and historical sights and by rich vineyards, for which this
area is known.
If you want to try your hand at free climbing, the Sokoline climbing area is
located near Velika on a rock made of quartzite, which makes it very solid, and
the total height is more than 50 meters. There are 10 routes with a maximum
length of up to 12 meters on the climbing area itself. The rock is ideal for
training and acquiring basic climbing skills.
Adrenaline lovers can test their dexterity on two superbly equipped polygons
in the Duboka Adrenaline Park for young and old. Polygon with 12 elements for
adults and another, slightly smaller, with nine elements for children; pristine
nature in the valley along the Dubočanka stream, the beautiful Papuk Nature
Park... - superb time in nature for the whole family.
Golden Slavonia, in addition to its many facilities and breathtaking nature, is
also known for its excellent wines. That's why we suggest everyone who
appreciates a good drop to visit wineries and wine tasting rooms, where you
can learn about the tradition of wine production, numerous wine stories and
taste a wide range of white, red and rosé wines.
When you get tired of the activities, get to know the destination through the
tastes of food and wine from local producers. The offer of original gastronomy
and local products is a great treasure of the Zlatni Papuk area.
Taste game specialties, but equally delicious freshwater delicacies such as carp
and trout. There is no shortage of traditional desserts, and it is hard to imagine
a good meal without even better wine and an unexpected delicacy - Slavonian
