Grândola é uma vila portuguesa no distrito de Setúbal, região do Alentejo e sub-região do Alentejo Litoral, com cerca de 6 800 habitantes. É sede do município de Grândola com 825,94 km² de área e em 2011 segundo o Wikipédia tinha 14 826 habitantes, subdividido em 4 freguesias.
O município é limitado a norte pelo município de Alcácer do Sal, a leste por Ferreira do Alentejo, a sul por Santiago do Cacém, a oeste pelo oceano Atlântico e a noroeste, através do Estuário do Sado, por Setúbal.
«Grândola, vila morena» é uma canção composta e cantada por José Afonso que foi escolhida pelo Movimento das Forças Armadas (MFA) para ser a segunda senha de sinalização da Revolução dos Cravos. José Afonso escreveu a primeira versão do poema “Grândola Vila Morena” após ter sido convidado a participar nos festejos do 52º Aniversário da coletividade Sociedade Musical Fraternidade Operária Grandolense (SMFOG) em 17 maio de 1964 e ter ficado impressionado com o ambiente fraterno e solidário desta Sociedade alentejana. À meia noite e vinte minutos e dezoito segundos do dia 25 de Abril de 1974, a canção foi transmitida pelo programa independente Limite através da Rádio Renascença como sinal para confirmar o início da revolução. Também por esse motivo, transformou-se em símbolo da revolução, assim como do início da democracia em Portugal.
Em termos geológicos, o território de Grândola é caracterizado por três grandes zonas: a serra de Grândola, a planície e a faixa litoral, que apresentam marcadas diferenças na composição do solo, no relevo, na flora e na paisagem em geral.
Não obstante a sua extensa costa, o clima deste município pode considerar-se mediterrânico com influência atlântica. Devido a vários fatores, apresenta simultaneamente características marítimas e continentais, sendo frequente a alternância de dias atlânticos e de características continentais. A temperatura média ronda os 16.7 °C
A pluviosidade é muito irregular ao longo do ano, a distribuição de anos secos e chuvosos é relativamente aleatória, e a precipitação média anual ronda os 600mm.

Praia do Castelo is a beach close to the village resort of Sesmarias which is within the Municipality of Albufeira, in the Algarve, Portugal. This beach is located 4.0 miles (6.4 km) by road to the west of Albufeira's old town center and is 31.9 miles (51.3 km) west of the region's capital Faro.
Explore the windmill clusters in and around Santiago de Cacem, Odemira, and Grândola. The Latin term moline, which means to grind, crush cereals, or use a millstone, is where the Portuguese word moinho originates. The Romans introduced the water mill in the second century, and Portugal afterward adopted it.

What to do in Oeiras Portugal⁉️ ????????
Hello guys in this beautiful day! ????????
Today we are going to Oeiras for 2nd time.
Oeiras is located in the district of Lisbon.
The municipality of Oeiras, with only 45.88 km² is located in the final stretch of the Tagus estuary on its right bank, around a small bay on the Lisbon coast that makes up a 9 km long riverfront.
Administratively it is surrounded by the municipalities of Sintra, Amadora, Lisbon and Cascais.
Since 2013, it has been divided into five parishes with a total of 171,802 inhabitants, making it the 5th most densely populated municipality in Portugal. [WK]
Oeiras is really cool place and you should visit! Also great place to live in.

Exploring Portugals Alentejo Region
The Alentejo Region in Portugal has some really neat towns to explore. You will need to rent a car to travel to these areas as public transport is extremely limited. Even a taxi might get you stuck in these remote locations.
Corval de Pedro is a cute little town outside of Evora. It is around a 30 minute drive from Evora. So not to bad of a drive. When I was out this way there had been quite a bit of rain. So the grass was extremely green and the weather much more mild than the summer heat of 100+ degrees F 40+ degrees C.
Monsaraz is about another 15 minutes away from Corval de Pedro and a very neat location. I hope to explore this area a little more as I really did not get to see the lake up close and personal.
