FAQ
================================

Q: How long was the trip?
A: Around 18 days. But I would say it's doable in 2 weeks. If you want more time to explore then 3 weeks should be more than adequate.

Q: How many days do I need in each city?
A: I would say 3-5 days in Kyoto and Osaka. Nara 1-2 days. At least 4-6 days in Tokyo but the more the better.

Q: How much did it cost?
A: Excluding hotels + airplane tickets we had a budget of around 2000 USD

Q: Is there vegan restaurant options in Japan?
A: Yes, I found plenty, and most restaurants offer vegan-friendly meals

Q: Which month did you go?
A: We visited in July but I would recommend visiting in either the Autumn or Spring season

Q: Where did you stay overnight?
A: You can find links to the different accommodations above + alternatives.

Kinkakuji Temple in Kyoto, Japan Travel Guide | Is it Worth The Visit?

This is my travel guide of Kinkakuji Temple in Kyoto, Japan, and answering if it is worth the visit. The golden temple Kinkakuji is one of the top things to do in Kyoto, Japan, making it a very busy tourist attraction. There is even a garden, pond, and other temple sights you can check out while visiting.

I recommend you come to this temple early, as it can be very easy even 30 minutes after opening! In the travel guide I cover the 3 architecture styles of each floor of the 3-storied pagoda temple - shinden zukuri, buke zukuri, and Chinese Zen Temple. Kinkakuji may not be the most peaceful and ideal place to feel the zen of a temple, but it is a sight everyone should see once nonetheless!
