Vinimos especialmente hasta Orșova para conocer la escultura de Decebal, a orillas de Danubio.
Y aunque salieron los planes Imprevisto? Aprovechamos oara conocer esa pequeña ciudad y contarte un poco sobre la escultura y las características de esa zona al suboeste Rumano, alli donde el Danubio entra en el país para desembocar en el Mar Negro.
Vimos paisajes de Serbia, al ser el río una frontera natural entre ese país y Rumania.

Canalul este proiectat să aibă o lungime de 73 km și o lățime de 80 m, adâncimea minimă a apei de 4,5 m, diferența de nivel de 53 m (10 m deasupra nivelului mării la Oltenița și 63 m la București). Planul include patru ecluze și trei porturi, două la București (lângă comuna 1 Decembrie - pe Argeș și la Glina - pe râul Dâmbovița) și altul la Oltenița.

BALKANTOUR - WEEK 1
Dit is deel 1 van onze motorvakantie door de Balkan. We vertrokken op 26 augustus uit Baarn en kwamen op zondag 18 september weer thuis.
Het was een werkelijk prachtige reis door 10 landen (inclusief Nederland). We hebben de mooiste wegen gereden, overnacht in totaal verschillende, maar perfecte hotels of appartementen en allerlei gezellige mensen ontmoet. Tijdens de reis heeft onze GoPro bijna niet uitgestaan. Gezien de
hoeveelheid filmmateriaal hebben we het verslag dan ook verdeeld over drie afzonderlijke delen. Stap achterop en reis met ons mee op deze 5.631 km. lange motortrip.

The Ex Communist Summer Theater is located near the Tineretului park and the Vacaresti neighborhood. The area has been closed by fences below (behind the stage) due to private properties and therefor the only entrace to this summer Theater is from above.
