Walking Glen Cove, Nassau County, Long Island, New York
I walk through the city of Glen Cove, located in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. I start off at the end of Garvies Point Road and then make my way downtown. The city's downtown was much larger than I thought, and I encountered many shops along School Street and Glen Street.

Glen Cove is a city in Nassau County, New York, on the North Shore of Long Island. At the United States 2010 census, the city population was 26,964, and 27,166 at the 2019 American Community Survey.
The city was considered part of the early 20th century Gold Coast of the North Shore, as the areas along the waterfront were developed as large country estates by wealthy entrepreneurs and businessmen such as J.P. Morgan, Phipps, Pratt, and Prybil. Glen Cove also had manufacturing and a diverse population that worked in industry, local agriculture and retail businesses. Of Nassau County's five municipalities, Glen Cove is one of the two municipalities that is a city, rather than a town, the other being Long Beach on the South Shore.
The city was the location of several successful manufacturing facilities in the 20th century. It attracted numerous immigrants from Ireland, Italy, and eastern Europe. More recently, it has been settled by immigrants of later migrations, from Central and South America, and Asia.

Glen Cove is a city in Nassau County, New York, United States, on the North Shore of Long Island. At the 2020 United States Census, the city population was 28,365 as of the 2020 census.
The city was considered part of the early 20th century Gold Coast of the North Shore, as the areas along the waterfront were developed as large country estates by wealthy entrepreneurs and businessmen such as J.P. Morgan, Phipps, Pratt, and Prybil. Glen Cove also had manufacturing and a diverse population that worked in industry, local agriculture and retail businesses. Of Nassau County's five municipalities, Glen Cove is one of the two municipalities that is a city, rather than a town, the other being Long Beach on the South Shore.
The city was the location of several successful manufacturing facilities in the 20th century. It attracted numerous immigrants from Ireland, Italy, and eastern Europe. More recently, it has been settled by immigrants of later migrations, from Central and South America, and Asia.

Carquinez Overlook Trail, Glen Cove, Vallejo, California - 4K Drone
Here is our video of our Carquinez Overlook Trail hike one last Saturday with our best friends. It is a 2 mile trail starting from our friends Glen Cove neighborhood to the hilltop overlooking the Vallejo Carquinez Bridge. The trail has beautiful scenic views of the Carquinez Strait waters, marinas, cliff side homes and the Carquinez Bridge. On the other side of the Strait, is the town of Port Costa & Crockett. Some parts of the trail goes uphill and will surely give you a good workout. We enjoyed this charming and scenic hike!
