When you travel and pay to stay at a Large Hotel chain you expect it to be clean right? Well unfortunately that isn't the case these days and that was definitely true for our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Odessa, TX while we were traveling back from San Diego, CA after going through Hospice with my Dad. After driving all day beginning at 7 am we finally found a room in Odessa and unfortunately it was not what we expected! I'll let the video review do the talking but we can say do not stay here if you are looking for a clean Hotel and a good nights rest. You will end up being aggravated and if the Manager didn't fix it for us chances are they won't fix it for you.

Learn about the low bridge - the 10 foot bridge - you'll want to avoid. This park has a great camp store, rental camp equipment, kayak, canoe, bicycle and more. There is propane, a dump station although most sites are full hook up, a splash pad, laundry, clean shower house or bath house, playground, tent area, cabins and many level pull through sites. This is a great private campground in a great location, close to major highways.

Driving New York Thruway US I90 Geneseo to Rochester to Rome 4K
Episode 9: Starting in the Walmart parking lot of the college town of Geneseo, NY (Home to the State University of New York at Geneseo, SUNY) and looking at the new medical center building just being completed, we turn right to the intersection at the Wegman's Plaza then left onto NY 20A eastward.
We turn left onto US Interstate 390 to head north towards Rochester. We miss our exit and do a U-Turn in Henrietta to come back to the New York State Thruway entrance where we head east on the toll Thruway / Interstate 90 towards Utica. We drive east through the entire Finger Lakes Region and the beginning of the Central Leatherstocking Region running out of battery just past the first exit for Rome, NY.
Filmed on a GoPro Hero 9 Black in 4K with TimeWarp (Linear and Horizon Leveling) and edited on Final Cut Pro X. No voice over on this episode because of a lack of quiet studio space for the time being.
