A park for the Okazaki citizens built on the castle grounds. Within the park, there are many historic sites such as the Okazaki Castle, the Ninomaru Noh Theater, and the Tatsuki Shrine. At the Mikawa Bushi Museum, associated with Ieyasu Tokugawa, you can try on warrior armor and helmets. In April when the cherry trees bloom, a beautiful scene is created with the castle in the background.

GAMAGORI CITY GUIDE:
Gamagori is the largest onsen resort town in Aichi Prefecture, located 55 km east of Nagoya on the Pacific Coast on the railway route to Toyohashi.
There are four onsen (hot spa) quarters in and around this town of around 82,000 inhabitants: Miya Onsen, Gamagori Onsen, Katahara Onsen and Nishiura Onsen.
Gamagori receives visitors throughout the year for the hot springs in winter and for swimming and marine sports such as wind-surfing and yachting in summer.
Gamagori also has a boat racing (kyotei) track which attracts numerous visitors. Boat racing is, along with horse racing (keiba) and bicycle racing (keirin), the only three types of public gambling in Japan.
TOYOHASHI CITY GUIDE:
Toyohashi City is located in the southeastern corner of Aichi Prefecture, and is both the cultural and industrial center of the East Mikawa area.
Aichi is centrally located on the main Japanese island of Honshu, and was host to many of the great feudal warlords who shaped the history of Japan. In modern times, many great companies are headquartered in Aichi, including Toyota Motor Corporation, Nippon Sharyo (railway rolling stock manufacturer) and Noritake (tableware manufacturer).
As one of Japan's 'core cities', Toyohashi has everything you'd expect to find in a major city, but it maintains a friendliness, as well as a love of Japanese tradition, that bigger cities often forget.
Toyohashi has a mild climate, a low cost of living and is within easy reach of Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe by Shinkansen bullet train.

This members-only hotel was developed by Resorttrust Inc. Based on the concept of “Futuristic Luxury,” created an innovative luxury space of a kind never seen before. The building is a total of 400 m long, and is placed to follow the curve of the shoreline. Created with a complex spatial composition and structural system, including a broad 138-m-wide opening facing the sea and two expanses of water, its form combines elegance with dynamism. Appearing to float on the water surface, it has a feeling of unity with the sea. Its 193 guest rooms, lounge, spas, restaurants, and other areas are designed with sparkling materials and organic curves, which generate effects such as reflection and transparency. The gently curving movement routes and the ceaseless variation in the views before people moving along them inspire an uplifting feeling. The design lets occupants experience new spaces that integrate architectural space with interior, in ways that set this hotel apart from all others.

Takeshima Island is the symbol of Gamagori City and is connected to shore by a 387 meter bridge. On the island is a Yaotomi Shrine, in dedication to the Buddhist goddess Benzaiten. The bridge is supposed to bring good luck to couples, so if you come with your significant other it is customary to walk the bridge together while holding hands. In winter, migratory birds from Siberia also make an appearance here as well.

Pulau Takeshima ditetapkan sebagai monumen alam oleh pemerintah Jepang dan dianggap sebagai simbol dari kota Gamagori. Pulau ini merupakan rumah bagi lima kuil Shinto yang mengabadikan dewa keberuntungan, persalinan, pernikahan, kemakmuran dan manajemen bisnis, umur panjang, akademisi, dan kesejahteraan. Kuil - kuil ini menjadikan pulau ini sebagai tempat spiritual karena mengunjungi kelima kuil ini diyakini akan memberi Anda banyak kebahagiaan. Terletak di tengah pulau adalah Kuil Yaotomi. Ibadah Takeshima Benten, kuil ini dikenal sebagai salah satu dari tujuh kuil Benten utama di Jepang.
Pulau ini terhubung dengan daratan oleh jembatan Takeshima (387m) yang dijuluki sebagai jembatan perkawinan atau perjodohan. Dibutuhkan sekitar 50 menit untuk mengunjungi kuil-kuil ini dan berjalan-jalan di sekitar sisi barat pulau.
Takeshima island is designated as a natural monument of Japan and considered a symbol go Gamagori. The island os home to five Shinto shrines that's enshrine deities of fortune, childbirth, marriage, business prosperity and management, longevity, academics, and well-being. These shrines make the island a spiritual place as visiting all of these five shrines is believed to bring you an abundance of happiness. Located at center of the island is Yaotomi Shrine. Worship Takeshima Benten, this shrine is known as one of the seven major Benten shrines in Japan.
The island is connected to the mainland by Takeshima bridge (387m) which is dubbed as the bridge of marriage or matchmaking. It takes about 50 minutes to visit these shrines and stroll around the west side of the island.
