Kanazawa is known in Japanese as the land of the Gold marshes and is a city off the beaten and tested Golden Route (Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima).
Gold can be found on most things such as Gold Leaf Curry, Gold Leaf Ice Cream straight to a temple played in Gold.
Known to be the equivalent of Kyoto for its vast amount of Tea Houses, Samurai districts and castles, it has its own international port, allowing visitors a great glimpse of this city by the sea of Japan.
Only a short relative distance away is the village of Shirakawago, in the outskirts of Gifu Prefecture and is the land of the World UNESCO Heritage, Gosshou Zukkuri.
Seeing how COVID19 has delayed travel execution, it gives more space for those who are interested in coming to a city that mixes countryside living with the friendliness of urban living.

Planning a trip to Japan? One of the best decisions we made was adding one stop before heading back to Tokyo from Kyoto. Kanazawa, the capital of the Ishikawa prefecture, is a historical city with convenient access to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

Toyama, Japan - The beautiful Tateyama mountain range
Toyama Prefecture is a regional city in Japan with a population of 400,000.
It is an area of heavy snowfall, but in recent years the amount of snowfall has been decreasing due to global warming.
One of the symbols of Toyama Prefecture is the Tateyama Mountain Range, a chain of 3000 meter high mountains. When seen from the urban area of Toyama, they tower up like a wall, which is considered to be one of the most unusual sights in Japan.
Toyama can be reached in about two hours from Tokyo by the Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet train. It takes about two hours from Tokyo to Toyama by Hokuriku Shinkansen and about three hours from Kansai International Airport by connecting the Thunderbird limited express and Shinkansen.
Please come and visit Toyama, a place full of delicious food, nestled between the mountains and the sea.

Kanazawa city is located the Sea of Japan and is bordered by the Japanese Alps.
The city is leading tourist city where many tourists visit every year.
During the Edo Period, Kanazawa served as the seat of the Maeda Clan, the second most powerful feudal clan after the Tokugawa in terms of rice production and fief size. Accordingly, Kanazawa grew to become a town of great cultural achievements, rivaling Kyoto and Tokyo.

Kenrokuen Garden - For Tourism ISHIKAWA JAPAN
The Kenrokuen Gardens were created by the Maeda clan in the 1600s.
Along with the Kairakuen and Korakuen gardens, the Kenrokuen gardens are considered among the top three Japanese-style gardens in Japan.
Developed during the reign of Lord Nariyasu Maeda, Kenrokuen gets its name from its six main features: Spaciousness, seclusion, artifice, antiquity, water-courses and panoramic views.
Kenrokuen was created for year-round beauty, with red and white plum blossoms and vibrant summer views.
In the winter, yukitsuri ropes protect the trees from snowfall. The scenery weaving through the everyday landscape of the gardens by former lords ensure the majestic beauty of the natural con-tours and add to the gardens’ majesty.

Last December I visited two more Akiya houses in Nanto city of Toyama prefecture, the northern part of Japan. Both are located by a river and close to the historical districts of Fukumitsu and Johana. One is listed on a general commercial real estate site, and the other is actually from the Akiya bank of Nanto city. 【浜松餃子！浜松市でお薦めの餃子屋『福みつ』】
久しぶりの餃子。浜松市内の餃子屋「福みつ」にて餃子定食(20個)。揚げ餃子と焼き餃子の間のような餃子。食感よく、味も上出来。非常に美味。お薦め出来るお店です。
