Trivia: Weren't those flying starlings scary??? When I first saw them it was last year. I wanted to film them in my walking video but I didn't get a chance back then. I waited 1 year for this but when I came back to Fujisawa station a year later, I stupidly missed the opportunity. I didn't know they flew only for about 5 mins or so. So I had to go home empty handed at first. And this video is my second attempt. I waited more than 1 year for this eventually!!!

Enoshima is a small offshore island near Sagami Bay of Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Administratively, Enoshima is part of the mainland city of Fujisawa, and is linked to the Katase section of that city by a 389-metre-long bridge. Home to some of the closest sandy beaches to Tokyo and Yokohama, the island and adjacent coastline are the hub of a local resort area.
Enoshima Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Enoshima, Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan. The shrine is dedicated to the worship of the kami Benten. Enoshima-jinja consists of three shrines, He-tsu-miya, Naka-tsu-miya and Oku-tsu-miya.
Per legend, 12th century Japanese ruler Hōjō Tokimasa visited the shrine to pray for prosperity, and there received a prophecy from a mysterious woman, who also left behind three scales, which became his family crest.

Enoshima is a small island off the Shōnan coast of Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture. It’s known for the Enoshima Shrine, with statues honoring Benzaiten, the Buddhist goddess. It's also home to the Enospa hot springs and the 19th-century, English-style Samuel Cocking Garden with its Sea Candle lighthouse. The Iwaya Caves feature tidal pools and Buddhist statues. Popular mainland beaches overlook the island.
