How to Get the Best Views of Niagara Falls Canada
Niagara Falls is one of Canada's most famous natural attractions. It's a massive waterfall that separates the border between the USA and Canada, between Ontario and New York.
While the town itself has become quite touristy, the falls remain beautiful, with up to six million cubic meters of water flowing over the edge every second.
The most common way to see Niagara Falls is to walk along the neighboring sidewalk and viewing platform, which always has a steady stream of people. From here, you can see them from afar or you go right next to the crest, witnessing the water flowing over the edge.

What are your favorite things to do in Niagara Falls? The falls are one of the most iconic waterfalls in the world, having been featured in movies like Niagara with Marilyn Monroe and Superman II. They’ve even been immortalized in cartoon form in the animated short Niagara Fools with Woody Woodpecker.

While daredevils have been going over the falls in barrels, crossing them on tightropes, and even jumping into the gorge for nearly two hundred years, there are plenty of things to do in Niagara Falls that don’t require you to risk your life.
Attractions such as the Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, and Journey Behind the Falls let you get up close and personal with the roaring waterfalls. Just be prepared to get wet with many of the things to do in Niagara Falls. Most of them provide you with rain ponchos to help keep you dry, but you'll want to have some good footwear if you don't want your feet to be squishing around for the rest of the day.
If history is more your thing, check out Old Fort Niagara and the Niagara Parks Power Station. The fort was the longest-operating in North America and has a lot of history to explore. You can expect to spend several hours exploring the grounds and learning about its history. The power station also has a long history and the nighttime show takes you all the way from the ice age to modern times.
There are lots of outdoor things to do in Niagara Falls as well. You can explore the Niagara Glen Nature Reserve, check out the Great Gorge Rapids from the White Water Walk or hike the miles of trails in Devil’s Hole State Park.
