V. Fulidhoo Island tour ( Vaavu Fulidhoo Maldives )
Fulidhoo island is located in Vaavu Atoll with a population of 440 citizens. Fulidhoo is situated due south and is 57.05 km away from Male, the capital city of Maldives. ( 45 minutes speed boat ride from the Airport)
Fulidhoo is one of the most beautiful local islands in Maldives. It is surrounded with a large white sandy beach and with a beautiful lagoon with 3 gorgeous colors of water; white, blue and green!

Fulidhoo is the most northern of the inhabited islands of Vaavu Atoll in the Maldives.
Perfect location if you want to explore the Maldives without breaking the bank.
The easiest option is the speedboat transfer and takes just over an hour and costs $40 per person.
The official population is around 400 and it is a small size. Fulidhoo has a mosque, school, health center, community center, council offices, and a number of general stores selling general food supplies, snacks, and drinks.
There are about 10 guesthouses, a dive school, and water sports facilities for visitors. The main draw to this island is the dive sites around the island.
Transportation options
Speedboat Ferry (USD 40) takes 1 hr
Local Ferry (USD 4) takes approximately 3.5 hrs.
From Male to Fulidhoo (stopping in Maafushi along the way):
Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 10am from Vilingili Terminal in the west of Male’
Tickets go on sale from 3pm the day before.
From Fulidhoo to Male: 11am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, also stopping in Maafushi.
Scheduled speedboat ferries operate every day except Fridays.

Fulidhoo is a small island in the Republic of Maldives. It can be reached by a three-and-a-half-hour ferry ride from the capitol, Male. The population is around 600 and has great snorkeling excursions. There are only a few places to stay so book as far in advanced as possible.

Facing the beachfront, Alimas Holiday Retreat offers 4-star accommodations in Felidhoo and has a fitness center, garden and shared lounge. This 4-star hotel offers an ATM and babysitting service. The property has a 24-hour front desk, airport transportation, room service and free WiFi.
The hotel will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms offering a desk, an electric tea pot, a fridge, a microwave, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a bidet. Alimas Holiday Retreat provides some rooms with city views, and all rooms come with a balcony. At the accommodation the rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels.

Feridhoo is one of the islands in Maldives and it is located in the Alif Alif Atoll and is olnly 88km from Capital Male. In our opinion Feridhoo Island is perfect for those travelers that would like to stay in Maldives for a week in a calm island, relax and find some peace and quiet while seeing one of the most beautiful beaches in Maldives.
We stayed at Castaway Retreat and we can say that it was one of our best experiences yet, it felt like home. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional, they made us feel right at home and they made sure our stay was great.
