Our FIRST TIME in EXETER, Devon ???????? - Worth a visit?
This travel vlog is about our first time in Exeter, Devon's beautiful capital city in the southwest of England. Since Exeter is not the most popular UK destination, we decide: Is it worth a visit?
Brandon starts the day with some solo travel, tries some delicious Cornish pasties from the pastry shop Oggy Oggy, and explores the streets of this quaint little city. We meet up for a tasty pub meal at the White Hart Pub to end our first day. The second day starts with a delightful breakfast at The Boston Tea Party Exeter. After a few more hours strolling through Exeter's streets, including the narrowest street in Britain, we have a yummy seafood dinner at Rockfish Exeter.

The South West Coast Path follows the coastline, taking in the towering cliffs of the northern Exmoor Coast and rock formations on the fossil-rich southern Jurassic Coast.

We took a day trip to Exeter a great place to visit in the UK. With so much history, from its stunning Cathedral to it's beautiful Tudor buildings. Exeter has so much to offer for everyone and so much to see.
We spent the day walking around the historic sights and walked down the quirkiest, smallest, street in England. We enjoyed the sunshine at Exeter quay side and even saw a house that moved !!!. We were humbled by the well preserved St Catherines Almhouses the badly bombed church from world war two.
Exeter even has a dark history involving witches and was the last place in the UK that women were accused and executed for witch craft.
We can recommend visiting Exeter enough, there is so much more to Exeter than the university.

We explore Exeter High Street, before passing through Cathedral Yard and Cathedral Green, enjoying the lovely views of Exeter Cathedral. We then walk through Princesshay shopping centre and back down the High Street before exploring Gandy Street, a beautiful cobbled street with some wonderful independent shops, cafes and bars. We also take a quick look at some of the cafes and restaurants in the Guildhall Shopping Centre along with street food stalls by the historic St Pancras' Church. The majority of the church dates from the thirteenth century, although the font is eleventh century and occupies what is probably the oldest Christian site in Exeter. Our walk finishes in Northernhay Gardens, where we also see vestiges of the Roman City Wall that once surrounded Exeter.
Exeter is an ancient city on the River Exe in Devon, southwest England. Dating back to the Roman era, the Exeter City Walls surround its centre and Gothic Exeter Cathedral. Exeter Castle, a Norman landmark, overlooks leafy Northernhay and Rougemont Gardens. To their west, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery (RAMM) displays fine art and costumes and visitors can explore the city’s 2,000-year history. The vaulted, medieval Underground Passages snake beneath the city.
