Ptuj Kurentovanje 2023, Slovenia - 4K Virtual Walk 1st person POV
Kurentovanje is a traditional carnival festival that takes place in Slovenia, particularly in the northeastern region of the country, in a town called Ptuj. It usually occurs in February or March, before the beginning of the Christian season of Lent.
Kurentovanje is characterized by colorful and vibrant parades where people dress up in costumes, wear masks and make a lot of noise to scare away the winter and welcome the arrival of spring. The most prominent figure of the festival is the Kurent, a mythical creature dressed in a sheepskin coat, a colorful scarf, and a chain with bells. The Kurent wears a wooden mask with long horns and a long red tongue, and it is said to have the power to drive away evil spirits and bring good luck.
During Kurentovanje, there are also various events and activities such as concerts, exhibitions, and culinary events that showcase the local traditions, folklore, and cuisine. Kurentovanje is a unique and lively celebration that reflects the cultural heritage of Slovenia and is enjoyed by both locals and visitors alike.

Grad Dvorec Viltuš Maribor Slovenia
Viltus è una casa padronale vicino a Maribor. È il successore del vecchio castello Viltus sulla collina vicina e il suo nome deriva dalla parola tedesca wildhaus.
La nuova dimora fu costruita su una pianura vicino al fiume Drava. La costruzione fu eseguita in diverse fasi e l'immagine finale fu ottenuta nella seconda metà del XIX secolo, quando gli stili storici estremamente popolari ispirarono il sigillo di un romantico stile neo-normanno. Il maniero è quindi molto versatile dal punto di vista architettonico, basato su molti di quelli coltivati biologicamente, sebbene in altezza e orientamento sia completamente diverso, le ali. Ti affascina con una moltitudine di torri e torri, e soprattutto con un'enorme torre che controlla l'intero edificio e gli dà un nuovo componente. Un tempo il castello era perfettamente attrezzato, come testimoniano le fotografie raramente conservate. Ha parlato in caminetti di marmo, alcune sculture scultoree (ad esempio un busto damino) e, soprattutto, soffitti in legno intagliato. Il palazzo fu allestito in un grande e ben curato parco in stile inglese, con molte specie rare, autoctone e non autoctone (tra cui spiccano alcuni alberi esotici) specie arboree. Oggi il maniero non ha uno scopo reale. È un luogo pubblico e quindi un bersaglio frequente di teppismo. Il risultato è un deterioramento insostenibile. La cosa è stata aggravata dalla nuova strada che ha tagliato il parco per due e quindi alienato dal castello.Il parco del castello si estende attorno al castello. Il suo design è diviso in più parti:

Park rappresenta un esempio di qualità della disposizione del passaggio dal XIX al XX secolo in uno stile romantico con elementi di eclettismo ed esotismo ed è importante dal punto di vista dendrologico (rare specie esotiche) e dal punto di vista storico e architettonico del giardino.
Oltre alle specie arboree autoctone e convenzionali (quercia, abete rosso, pino verde, autunno), il parco si distingue per rare specie straniere (taxodium taxodium palustre taxodium distichum, tulipani Lyriodendron tulipifera, vista Glepaniculata, cavolfiore Abies nordmanniana, canadese Tsuga canadensis, verticulata, Magnolia macrophylla magnolia).
A causa dell'insufficiente manutenzione ed età, la vegetazione del parco non riesce.

Pot nadaljujem iz mestne tržnice po ulicah Ptuja, mimo stolne cerkve in Mestnega gledališča ptujskega... in tudi vožnja po starem prometnem mostu čez reko Dravo. Tudi tokrat želim prijeten pogled na mojo vožnjo, ki sem jo posnel na nekoliko svoj način. Način snemanja mi je zelo všeč saj omogoča veliko možnosti za snemanje in nato končni izgled zmontiranega filma.

Ptuj castle 4K, ||Slovenia||
The castle was built in the mid-12th century when it was constructed to defend against the Hungarians. When the castle was built, the town of Ptuj was part of the Archdiocese of Salzburg.
It was owned by the Jesuits of Zagreb for some time. In 1656, due to financial hardship, the Jesuits sold the castle to the Holy Roman Field Marshal Walter Leslie, a Scot by birth. The castle was thoroughly rebuilt during the Baroque period. Due to the end of the Turkish invasions, the castle lost its defensive character. General Walter Leslie turned it into a rural residence and the seat of a landed estate. His descendants owned it until 1802. After their extinction, the estate was inherited by their relatives, the Dietrichsteins, but they became extinct in 1864 as well.
