The Minnesota capital city is popularly known for being the confluence of the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers. The city claims 26 miles of the Mississippi riverfront, which is more than any other city.
Its interconnection with Minneapolis on the west forms the “Twin Cities”. It is also home to the Cathedral of Saint Paul, the third-largest Catholic Cathedral and sixth-largest Church in the United States, and the home of the famous author, Scott Fitzgerald.
The city is home to different architectural masterpieces such as the stunning Cathedral of Saint Paul reminiscent of the renaissance period, a fantastic conservatory, a magnificent state capitol, a beauty of a Landmark center built in European style, which makes it look like a castle, several Victorian-era buildings on the Summit Avenue which is one of the longest avenues with Victorian houses in the United States.

This is a town that's one of the top Minnesota attractions for good reason. Join me for a tour of some of the best neighborhoods in the Twin Cities as we tour the St. Paul Neighborhoods of Summit Hill, Macalester-Groveland, and Highland Park. Along the way, we'll drive down historic Summit Avenue past the Governer's Mansion and the former homes of famous Minnesotans including F. Scott Fitzgerald and James J. Hill.
Our driving tour of Saint Paul will also take us past the Cathedral of Saint Paul, the bars and restaurants of Selby-Dale, the shops of Grand Avenue, the Ford-Cleveland retail district, and finally, we'll get a look at the past, present, and future of the former Ford Motor Plant in Highland Park.

Building History:
The Dellwood Shopping Centre was the first planned shopping centre (with attached public housing estate) built by the Housing Commission of NSW. Reflecting the very latest in town planning, the Dellwood development was influenced by the New Towns Development in the UK. Responding to the post-World War Two housing boom the Dellwood complex featured ten shops with flats overhead. Rental preference was given to married ex-Service personnel (rental for the butcher's shop (pictured above) was the equivalent of $10 per week).

Come on a narrated walking tour of the Hoover Dam at the border of Nevada and Arizona. Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam built in the Colorado River. Construction started in 1931 and finished in 1936. It was largest dam in the world when it opened. The Hoover Dam impounds Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States. Hoover Dam provides water and electricity needs to millions of people in Nevada, Arizona, and California. Today, the Hoover is a popular tourist attraction drawing around 7 million people a year. It is located 30 mi (48 km) southeast of Las Vegas and about 45 minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip. As of May 27, Lake Mead water level is 1,053 feet (321 m) above sea level. It dropped to a record low of 1,040 feet in July 2022.

Our few favs include Farewell Bend, Cultus Lake and Whispering Falls. It was super hard to narrow it down to just three, but these three beautiful campgrounds with large sites, incredible views and stunning water features made our Oregon Cascades Campgrounds / A Few Favs list!
