SafetyWing (best for younger travelers + digital nomads):

*I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. BUT you cannot purchase SafetyWing WHILE in Canada or USA. You can only purchase once already abroad. Hey Mondo is more expensive but offers a higher level of coverage including plans that have trip cancellation/interruption insurance. Hey Mondo would be the better insurance to use if you need travel medical insurance when applying for a visa. Both companies cover covid. I am an affiliate for both companies, but I pay for my own policies.*

Start in Cranbrook: Activities

Open to More in Cranbrook, BC

Cranbrook was built for the railway. With the development of the CPR’s Crowsnest Line, the city grew up around the tracks. Elegant homes were built to house the railroad elite, and fine commercial buildings were constructed in the downtown core. Self-guided City Heritage Tour maps are available at the Visitor Centre.

Cranbrook’s strategic location makes it the commercial centre for the region. Cranbrook has a revitalized downtown with interesting shops and services bounded by beautiful heritage homes. This well-rounded community offers both arts and sports facilities. Enjoy the racquet / squash court or take a dip in the wave pool at the Recreation Centre. See a concert at the Key City Theatre or enjoy an intimate night of local theatre or live music at the Studio.
