Targu Mures | Romania 2016
I only spent less than hour walking around the lovely Romanian city of Targu Mures and this is a short video including all of the footage I was able to take.
Targu Mures has a combined population of both Hungarians and Romanians living together in peaceful harmony.
The city itself was quite beautiful and I wish I was able to spend more time exploring but I had to make it to Cluj Napoca before it got too late.
There is a lot of Habsurg and Hungarian influence that you can see throughout the city with the most noticeable being the tiled rooftops of some of the buildings. Many of those tiles are from the Hungarian city of Pecs and show how deep the tradition of Hungarians living in Romania and Targu Mures really is.
Another interesting thing is that many of the street signs and storefronts are written in the Hungarian language and although many Romanians aren't happy with the Hungarians it seemed to me that everyone was getting along fine despite a tumultuous history.
If you're driving in Romania I would definitely recommend stoping in Targu Mures for a few hours and walking around to check out some of the best that the city has to offer!

Am calatorit cu trenul in Moldova de la Chisinau la Iasi Socola folosind un tren CFM.
Am calatorit la clasa a 2-a cu automotorul D1M - modernizat in 2013 la Pascani. Acest automotor modernizat are la baza modelul D1, fabricat in Ungaria in anii 1960-1980.

Am vizitat la pas orasul Targu Mures si ne-am lasat fermecati de frumusetile arhitecturale de aici. Palatul Culturii ne-a cucerit pe deplin. Totodata, am sarbatorit Valentine`s Day in avans si am luat pranzul intr-un bistro cu decor special. Totul, in acest video!

Calatoria continua! De data aceasta am ajuns in municipiul Targu Mures. Dupa vizitarea catorva obiective turistice din inima orasului ne indreptam spre gradina zoologica. Recomandam cu incredere vizitarea acesteia!
Dupa vizita placuta la zoo ne oprim putin la cetatea medievala din Targu Mures. Facem o plimbare scurta si ne continuam drumul spre Toplita.
Aici urmeaza sa vizitam Manastirea Toplita si Cascada cu apa termala.
Ziua se incheie cu sosirea noastra in statiunea Borsec.

Salina Turda Cluj - Minunea din adâncuri
???? ROM Salina Turda este cu siguranta unul dintre cele mai frumoase si interesante 10
obiective turistice din Transilvania. Conform site-ului businessinsider.com salina Turda se afla pe locul 22 in topul celor mai spectaculoase locuri de vizitat din lume.
Vizitarea salinei incepe cu coborarea celor 107 trepte a unei galerii descendente, lunga de 45m si cu o diferenta de nivel de 15m. Aceasta ne conduce in galeria orizontala Franz Joseh, aceeasi care asigura accesul in mina si prin intrarea veche din strada Salinelor din Turda.
Ne indreptam spre Scara Bogatilor în zona căreia este amenajat un mic muzeu dar si un altar.
Galeria Franz Joseph ne conduce in partea superioara a minei Rudolf. Mina Rudolf este cu siguranță punctul culminant al vizitei din Salina Turda. Din tavan atârnă interesante stalactite de sare, dar și frumoasele candelabre cu care a fost dotată mina si care ii dau un farmec aparte.
Balcoanele de lemn, suspendate la 80 m de o parte si de alta a minei, ofera o perspectiva ametitoare a intregii sali si a turistilor care se plimba prin amenajarile de jos.
In continuare, din mina Rudolf, dacă coborâți încă un pachet de trepte, veți ajunge la un podeț care face trecerea din mina Rudolf către debarcaderul din camera de exploatare a Minei Terezia. Mina Terezia este cea mai veche lucrare din ansamblul minier Turda.
Este o cameră de exploatare de tip conic. Diametrul vetrei este de 75m si este inundata formand un lac cu salinitatea de 260g/l.
Sala puțului de extractie face legatura intre exploatrea miniera si galeria Franz Joseph.
Cablul de extracție era centrat pe mijlocul puțului și era legat la crivacul care asigura tracțiunea. Vasele de extracție erau niste saci confecționați din piele de bovină.
In continuare, ajungem în sala crivacului. Acesta era folosit la extracția sării.
Crivacul din lemn a fost montat în anul 1881 și este singurul utilaj de acest tip
din salinele din Europa care se păstrează încă pe locația originală. Pentru acționarea lui se foloseau 1 sau 2 cai.
La balconul situat în partea superioară a Sălii Ecourilor puteți face câteva vocalize.
Turul se incheie în galeria orizontală Francz Joseph.
În cadrul ansamblului turistic există și un centru balnear de recuperare.
Ieșirea din mină se poate face prin același loc prin care ați intrat.

Visiting the salt mine begins with a descent of 107 steps descending galleries, 45m long, and with a 15m level difference. This leads us to the horizontal gallery Franz Joseph,
the same that provides access to the mine also through the old entrance from Salina Street in Turda.
We are heading to The Staircase of the Rich in the area of which is set up a small museum but also an altar.
The Franz Joseph Gallery leads us to the upper part of the Rudolf mine. Mine Rudolf is certainly the climax of the visit to Salt MineTurda. From the ceiling hanging interesting stalactites of salt, but also the beautiful chandeliers with which the mine was equipped

The wooden balconies, suspended at 80 m on both sides of the mine, offer a stunning view of the entire hall and the tourists who walk through the downstairs arrangements.
Further on, from the Rudolf mine, if you lower yet another stack of stairs, you reach a footbridge which makes the transition from mine Rudolf to the quay in the operating room of the Mine Terezia. Mine Terezia is the oldest work in the Turda mining complex.
It is a conical operating room. The diameter of the hearth is 75m and it is flooded forming a lake with a salinity of 260g / l.
The extraction shaft room connects the mine and the Franz Joseph gallery. The extraction cable was centered in the middle of the shaft and it was tied to the crivac which provides the
traction. The extraction containers were bags made of bovine leather.
Next, we reach Crivac Hall. It was used for salt extraction.
The machinery was made out of wood and was mounted in 1881 and is the only machine of its kind of salt mines in Europe still preserved on the original site. One or two horses were used to drive it.
