Am prezentat cateva informatii si filmat de sus cum se vede pe o parte Comarnicul pe cealalta parte Secaria... nu am mai cobarat de acolo spre Secaria ca nu voiam sa fac un filmulet pre lung...doar am prezentat de acolo frumusetea naturii...chiar si fara zapada...vara este vis...si linistitor.
Eu am facut cateva gratare cu prietenii acolo...super frumos...loc traditional romanesc.

In this clip, the Secaria area in the Comarnic town area, a place where people live far from the troubled life compared to the towns on the Prahova Valley.
I presented some information and filmed from above, as seen on one side Comarnicul on the other side Secaria. I didn't go down from there to Secaria because I didn't want to make a video too long ... I just presented the beauty of nature from there ... even without snow ... summer is a dream ... and soothing.
I made some barbecues with my friends there ... super nice ... traditional Romanian place.

Sinaia is about 65 kilometres (40 miles) northwest of Ploiești and 48 kilometres (30 miles) south of Brașov, in a mountainous area on the Prahova River valley, just east of the Bucegi Mountains. The town's altitude varies between 767 to 860 metres (2,516 to 2,822 feet) above sea level.
The city is a popular destination for hiking and winter sports, especially downhill skiing. Among the tourist landmarks, the most important are Peleș Castle, Pelișor Castle, Sinaia Monastery, Sinaia Casino, Sinaia train station, and the Franz Joseph and Saint Anne Cliffs. Sinaia was also the summer residence of the Romanian composer George Enescu, who stayed at the Luminiș villa.
In the town of Sinaia and its surroundings restrictions are in place regarding cutting down or picking flora. The felling of trees is not allowed. It is forbidden to pick any alpine plants. Severe punishments are enforced for anyone who gathers : the Mountain Peony (Rhododendron Kotsky), Edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum), and the Yellow Gentiana (Gentiana lutea). Tourist camping is only authorized in designated places, following necessary and compulsory protection standards.
The mountainous area in which Sinaia is located is in the Bucegi Natural Park region. The Park covers a total area of 326.63 square kilometres (126.11 sq mi), of which 58.05 km2 (22.41 sq mi) are under strict protection and contain natural monuments. The Bucegi Natural Preserve area includes all the most precipitous areas of the mountains Vârful cu Dor, Furnica, and Piatra Arsă. The mountainous area is continuously patrolled by mountain rescue patrols as well as by members of the Mountain Police.
At the entrance to the Cumpătu district, one can find the “Sinaia alder-tree grove” botanical reservation placed under the protection of the Romanian Academy and the Bucharest Biology Institute. In the same district, there is also another ecological research station under the patronage of UNESCO – Jacques-Yves Cousteau, belonging to the University of Bucharest, which also includes a museum of Bucegi Mountains fauna.
Peleș Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883. It was constructed for King Carol I.

Top Modern Railroad in Romania, Comarnic - Predeal w/80 km/h FFW [December, 2011]
ENGLISH: The railway linking Bucharest, the capital of Romania, with Brasov, one of the most important cities of Transylvania, is an important railway connection which connects in less than 150 minutes Wallachia and Transylvania. In addition to the social and economic factors, the link between the two historical provinces of Romania, the railway section Campina - Sinaia - Predeal, its way through the Prahova Valley is one of the most attractive tourist areas in Romania.
Thus, railway section Campina - Predeal, 48 kilometers long, was completely rebuilt. Many tight curves, bridges and culverts make this a difficult route map for train drivers, extremely difficult to build, but very beautiful to admire, both for the traveling public and for rail enthusiasts.
Also, the slope characteristic of 20 per thousand between Campina and Predeal proves notable difference in level of more than 550 meters between the two localities. Calea ferată ce leagă Bucureștiul, capitala României, de Brașov, unul dintre cele mai importante municipii din Transilvania, reprezintă o legătură importantă feroviară care apropie în mai puțin de 150 de minute Muntenia de Transilvania. Pe lângă acest factor social și economic, de legătură între cele două provincii istorice ale României, tronsonul de cale ferată Câmpina -- Sinaia -- Predeal, își face loc prin Valea Prahovei, una dintre cele mai atractive zone turistice din România.
Astfel, tronsonul feroviar Câmpina -- Predeal, distanță de 48 de kilometri, a fost reconstruit integral. Multitudinea de curbe strânse, poduri și podețe fac din acest traseu unul dificil de parcurs pentru mecanicii de locomotivă, extrem de greu de construit, însă foarte frumos de admirat, atât pentru publicul călător, cât și pentru cei pasionați de domeniul transportului feroviar.
De asemenea, panta caracteristică de 20 la mie între Câmpina și Predeal dovedește diferența de nivel notabilă de peste 550 de metri între cele două localități. Totodată, vârful de pantă de la Predeal și cele peste 10 linii de aici răspund cu brio la traficul intens care se desfășoară pe acest coridor Pan European nr. 4 (Constanța -- București -- Curtici).
Așadar, nu-mi rămâne decât să vă doresc vizionare plăcută la filmul de mai jos, în care apar în fața dumneavoastră peste 34 de kilometri de tronson proaspăt refăcut de la 0 și capabil de 80 km/h. Ca o ultimă precizare, viteza de derularea a imaginilor este de 4x, așadar puteți deduce și dumneavoastră viteza de circulație a unui Tren Regio (fost Personal) pe acest tronson.

Prahova Valley - Bușteni & Cantacuzino Castle
The Prahova valley is a touristy area in the southern Carpathians, particularly in winter. It's nestled between the Bucegi and Baiu mountain ranges and the main draw is skiing in winter, and hiking and adventure sports in the summer.
A number of small mountain towns are spread throughout the valley; Predeal, Azuga, Bușteni, & Sinaia. The valley is accessible by train, but also a pretty short drive from the major city and Brașov.
Bușteni is also home to the Cantacuzino Castle, which is more like a large villa. Originally owned by the Cantacuzino family, it was seized by the Communist regime in the late 1940s and used to house tuberculosis patients.
