The Comana Natural Park presents a natural area within the southern continental bioregion of the Romanian Plain and the northeastern Burnaz Plain, which shelters, protects and preserves a diverse range of flora and fauna, expressed both at the level of species and at the level of terrestrial ecosystems and aquatic.
The Comana Adventure Park is an extensive space for walking and leisure, with trees, flowers and greenery a lot in the summer. In addition, you can admire the fauna and flora of the Comana pond. You can do various recreational activities such as archery, zip line, train ride, carriage ride, boat or kayak.
Several thematic restaurants invite you to the table: Cherhanaua Delta Neajlovului, Hanul Postalionului, Hotel-Restaurant Casa Comana, Taverna Marelui Paharnic. They are nicely arranged. You also have a snack and beer area, but also a nice place, La Grădină, to drink a juice or eat an ice cream. Entrance to the park is free, what you experience inside is for a fee, of course.
The entrance to the Comana Nature Reserve is at the barrier. From the Comana Adventure Park, you can go a little further. It's a forest road through the forest where, in theory, you can't enter by car. It can be traveled on foot or by bicycle. The walking route takes a little over 1 hour, at a moderate pace, with breaks. It is about 3 km to the Fântâna cu Nuc cabin.
Moara de Hârtie-Crafts Village is a new project in the area, with all kinds of creative workshops, which we recommend you to experience. Gellu Naum Memorial House is closed. Too bad, it was an important cultural landmark in the area.
Visit the main objectives of Comana Natural Park
Take it in stride and cross the bridge over the lake, called the Bridge of Desires. On the other side you have a lot of green space, where you can spread a blanket and where you can relax in the sun.
If you go straight ahead, you will reach the Spice Garden, from where you can admire the scenery towards Casa Comana and the alley full of restaurants on the edge of the lake.
If you take it towards the Fisherman's Cottage, you reach another bridge, the Bridge of Endless Love, from where you can admire the delta on one side and the Tower of the Sun on the other.
To reach the Tower of the Sun, climb the Staircase of Victory (33 steps) and pass the Blue Cross of Hope. The tower can be visited in the warm season, and a spectacular panorama over the Neajlovu Delta awaits you at the top.
Sărutului Bridge is the third and last bridge of the park, which makes the transition from the Comana Natural Park to the Neajlovu Delta.
Visit the Walnut Fountain and the Ornithological Observatory
3 km from the Natural Park, you reach Fântâna cu Nuc, where Vlad Țepeș is said to have been killed, and the Ornithological Observatory, an observation point for dozens of bird species present here.
You can make the journey on foot or even better, rent a bike.
Also here, you can also admire the Ghimpe Comana Reserve, a protected natural area of the area.
Take a boat ride through the Neajlovu Delta
Whether you choose the boat, the steamer or the kayak, you must not miss the walk through the delta.
Visit the Paper Mill and Comana Monastery
10 minutes by car from the Comana Adventure Park, you reach two very important tourist attractions in the area:
• Comana Monastery - built by Vlad Țepeș in 1461 and where his body is supposed to be now;
• Moara de Hârtie – a museum workshop, where Romanian manufacturing traditions are brought back to life.
Restaurants in Comana Adventure Park
One thing is certain, the Comana Adventure Park does not lack restaurants. An entire alley is dedicated to them, so you're spoiled for choice.
The most recommended are:
• Taverna Marelui Paharnic Comana (especially if you want Greek-specific food)
• Casa Comana (specifically Romanian food)
• Cerhanaua Delta Neajlovului (fish preparations)
• The Postman's Inn (predominantly meat dishes)

Ne-am hotarat instantaneu intr-o Duminică sa vizitam acest minunat parc de aventura din Comana ,un loc superb plin de verdeață, unde relaxarea si sportul sunt la mare căutare.
Acest parc se află la 30 de km fata de Bucuresti asa ca vizitati-l, este foarte frumos!!

Comuna Comana se află în județul Giurgiu la aproximativ 40 km de București. Pe teritoriul său se găsește Parcul Natural Comana, o arie protejată de interes național. În Parcul Natural Comana se află Balta Comana, a treia zonă de acest fel din ţară după Balta Mică a Brăilei şi Delta Dunării.
Parcul de Aventură Comana este situat lângă Casa Comana și oferă posibilități diverse de petrecere a timpului liber, cum ar fi: trasee suspendate de diferite grade de dificultate, atât pentru adulți cât și pentru copii, o tiroliană peste lac, un zid de cățărare, poți să tragi cu arcul, poți să faci echitație, ai posibilitatea de a închiria biciclete, de a da o tură cu trenulețul sau te poți plimba pur și simplu în aer curat pe aleile mărginite de spațiu verde. Este un loc ideal pentru amatorii de mișcare și aventură în mijlocul naturii. În Parcul Comana găsești restaurante și terase unde poți servi o masă gustoasă.
O altă atracție a parcului este Pasarela Dorințelor, un pod peste lac unde ești invitat conform unui obicei împrumutat să îți scrii numele pe un lacăt pe care să îl prinzi de gardul podului iar cheia să o arunci în Neajlov cu mâna dreaptă pentru îndeplinirea unei dorințe. Multe cupluri își agață câte un lacăt cu numele ambilor parteneri.
La aproximativ 500 de metri de intrarea în parcul de aventură ( din dreptul unei bariere metalice, începe un traseu de aproximativ 4 km pe un drum neasfaltat, plin de gropi și pe alocuri de bălți, care se întinde de-a lungul malului Deltei Neajlovului. Acesta poate fi parcurs pe jos în aproximativ 40 de minute sau cu bicicleta. Este un drum prin pădure pe care vei fi uneori asaltat de țânțarii din deltă sau de albinele de la stupii împrăștiați prin împrejurimi.
Într-un final vei ajunge la un izvor amenajat cu beton numit Fântâna cu Nuc, loc unde legenda spune că a fost decapitat Vlad Țepeș, al cărui trup a fost apoi dus la Mănăstirea Comana. Pe un panou stă scris că pe acest loc călugării au săpat după moartea lui Vlad Țepeș o fântână, însă pe peretele fântânii există o inscripție ce atestă că sursa de apă a fost amenajată de Regia Pădurilor Statului în 1933.
Peste drum de acest loc se găsește un alt panou care anunță că în locul respectiv se va ridica Memorialul Vlad Țepeș, dar se pare că proiectul a rămas doar la stadiul de proiect.
Peste drum de Poiana Fântânii cu Nuc, din zona locului în care ar fi trebuit să se construiască Memorialul, începe o alee care iese din pădure spre baltă. Aici, în cadrul unui proiect cu fonduri europene de reconstrucție ecologică a Bălții Comana a fost amenajat și Observatorul Ornitologic.
Aleea trece pe lângă observatorul propriu-zis, un turn de lemn înalt și cu ferestre, și continuă prin stufăriș până la baltă. De aici începe un podeț de lemn cu balustrade, lung de aproximativ 50 m la capătul căruia vei găsi un foișor simplu de lemn. De la înălțimea acestuia se observă o parte mare din stufăriș și ochiuri de apă, iar dacă ai noroc poți observa și păsări. În caz contrar va trebui să te mulțumești doar cu o priveliște minunată.
