今回は、サザンオールスターズでお馴染みの湘南は茅ヶ崎の町を訪れてみました。
元々神奈川のサーフポイントとしてその名を知られ、また、サザンオールスターズ、桑田さんのホームタウンと言うこともあり、元祖湘南サーフカルチャーの発信地としてのイメージが定着していますが、本来は湘南の爽やかな海と静かで文化的でのどかな街並みが見事に調和した、神奈川の誇る素晴らしいシーサイドタウン、それが茅ヶ崎市です。
今回はそんなサーフカルチャー発信地としての茅ヶ崎と、湘南地区本来の、のどかなシーサイドタウンとしての茅ヶ崎、その両面の魅力を美味しいものを通して発見する、そんな旅の記録です。
