Acton is an area of West London, England, within the London Borough of Ealing. It is 6.1 miles (10 km) west of Charing Cross. It lies within the Historic County of Middlesex.
At the 2011 census, its four wards, East Acton, Acton Central, South Acton and Southfield, had a population of 62,480, a ten-year increase of 8,791 people. North Acton, West Acton, East Acton, South Acton, Acton Green, Acton Town, Acton Vale and Acton Central are all parts of Acton.
Acton means oak farm or farm by oak trees, and is derived from the Old English āc (oak) and tūn (farm).Originally an ancient village, as London expanded, Acton was absorbed into the city. Since 1965, Acton equates to the east of the London Borough of Ealing, though some of East Acton is in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and a small portion of South Acton is in the London Borough of Hounslow.
Central Acton is synonymous with the hub of commerce and retail on the former main road between London and Oxford (the Uxbridge Road); a reminder of its history is in its inns, which date back in cases to the late Tudor period as stopping places for travellers. Nowadays, the principal route linking London and Oxford (the A40 dual carriageway) bypasses central Acton, but passes through East Acton and North Acton.

Teddington is a suburb in south-west London in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. In 2021, Teddington was named as the best place to live in London by The Sunday Times. Historically in Middlesex, Teddington is situated on a long meander of the Thames between Hampton Wick and Strawberry Hill, Twickenham. Mostly residential, it stretches from the river to Bushy Park with a long high street of shops, restaurants and pubs. There is a suspension bridge over the lowest non-tidal lock on the Thames, Teddington Lock. At Teddington's centre is a mid-rise urban development, containing offices and apartments.

PT// Na nossa visita anterior a Notting Hill, pouco pudémos desfrutar devido a uma chuva torrencial. Infelizmente, não tivemos melhor sorte desta vez, pois fomos num dia de mercado. Havia tanta gente que quase não conseguíamos andar. Ainda assim, conseguimos capturar algumas imagens deste encantador bairro. Para chegar lá, atravessamos o Hyde Park. É importante lembrar que Notting Hill também é famoso pelo seu mercado de Portobello Road, que ocorre principalmente aos sábados, então escolher um dia alternativo pode ser mais tranquilo para explorar a área.
EN// During our previous visit to Notting Hill, we could hardly enjoy it due to heavy rain. Unfortunately, we didn't have better luck this time as we went on a market day. There were so many people that we could hardly walk. Nevertheless, we managed to capture some images of this charming neighborhood. To get there, we crossed Hyde Park. It's important to remember that Notting Hill is also famous for its Portobello Road Market, which mainly takes place on Saturdays, so choosing an alternative day might be quieter to explore the area.

Watford is a town and borough in Hertfordshire, England, 15 miles northwest of London, on the River Colne.Initially a small market town, the Grand Junction Canal encouraged the construction of paper-making mills, print works, and breweries. While industry has declined in Watford, its location near London and transport links has attracted several companies to site their headquarters in the town. Cassiobury Park is a public park that was once the manor estate of the Earls of Essex.
The town developed next to the River Colne on land belonging to St Albans Abbey. In the 12th century, a charter was granted allowing a market, and the building of St Mary's Church began. The town grew partly due to travellers going to Berkhamsted Castle and the royal palace at Kings Langley. A mansion was built at Cassiobury in the 16th century. This was partly rebuilt in the 17th century and another country house was built at The Grove.

As if they are not concerned about breaking my bank enough, the Bulgari Paris has always been on the top of that list. Well, since the French Open tickets are still not available and to celebrate my first Chinese new year in Europe, I have stayed in the Bulgari London.
Mind you, ever since this luxury goods maker decided to venture out to the hotel business, it has partnered with, who else? The Marriot Bonvoy. However, you would not be able to earn any Marriot Bonvoy points for any stay in the hotel chain, and at a minimum of 1000 pounds per night, it’d better measure up to its price. Has it?
