9. Lake Tuz
The 9th best thing to do in Cappadocia is to visit Lake Tuz. Not only is Lake Tuz the largest salt lake in Turkey, but it’s also one of the largest salt lakes in the world. It’s known for its vibrant pink color.
8. Uchisar Castle
At number 8 we have Uchisar Castle, which towers above the Cappadocia valleys and is the highest point in the area. The castle is the biggest and most beautifully carved rock formation in the region.
7. Go on a camel ride
There are many ways to explore the Cappadocia valleys and one fun option is from the back of a camel or horse. There are many tour operators in and around Göreme that offer one or two hour rides. We decided to go on a camel ride during sunrise.
6. Göreme Open-Air Museum
At number 6, we have the Göreme Open-Air Museum. This isn’t your everyday museum. It’s actually a large outdoor area, home to various monasteries, churches and chapels carved out of the rock.
5. Watch the balloons at sunrise
The 5th best thing to do in Cappadocia is to watch the hot air balloons at sunrise. Watching hundreds of balloons floating through the orange skies is a truly magical sight. You can find viewpoints all around Göreme that offer magnificent views of the action.
4. Ihlara Valley
The fourth best thing to do in Cappadocia is to explore Ihlara Valley. The Ihlara Valley is about 100 meters deep and about 10 km long, which makes it the perfect hiking destination. It was once a settlement area that hosted monastery life between the 4th to 13th centuries.

3. Underground cities
Cappadocia is extremely fascinating and the underground cities are a big reason why. You can find approximately 200 underground cities in Cappadocia, which were built to protect the inhabitants from outsiders. This allowed 1000s of people to live their lives in total secrecy! Today, you can visit some of these underground cities and explore various levels.
2. Hiking the valleys
Filled with fairy chimneys and surreal volcanic rock formations, Cappadocia is home to some of the most beautiful valleys in the world. From the awe-inspiring Rose Valley to the strange Love Valley and the lush Ihlara Valley. Cappadocia begs to be explored on foot and is a true hiker’s paradise.

The best thing to do in Cappadocia is to go on a hot air balloon ride. Seeing the incredible rock formations from above is one of the most magical experiences we’ve had during our world travels so far. The beauty of the sunrise colors and 100s of other balloons floating around us was almost indescribable.

Mirwart - village with picturesque charm (Belgium 4K)

One of my tourist guides wrote: “Escape to Mirwart, a small village in the heart of Saint-Hubert’s forests, for a magical stay in a tranquil setting. Mirwart, ‘one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia’ is situated in the middle of 1,350 hectares of woodland. Endless opportunities for exploring the great outdoors!”
and the webpage In the middle of the most beautiful forests, this village seems to have been spared the ravages of time. Its old stone or half-timbered farmhouses and likewise its castle exude a picturesque charm. In the provincial domain with its ponds and its forest you can discover a protected nature.
A castle cradled in a green setting Mirwart is a small picturesque village that time seems to have spared. Comfortably installed in its green setting, Mirwart is surrounded only by forests. In this green landscape, the old farms have kept their ancestral characteristics: half-timbered houses, old stones and old bricks are still today the prerogative of the built heritage.
So I was curious and went having a look.
There is basically a big road, on one end a church and on the other end a castle in construction, which should be turned into a 5-star-hotel soon

ÖLÜDENIZ, TURKEY | Best Things to do in & around Ölüdeniz, Fethiye
Ölüdeniz is a beach town along the Turquoise Coast in the southwest of Turkey. It’s located about 14 km or 9 miles to the south of Fethiye at the conjunction point of the Aegean and Mediterranean Sea. Ölüdeniz is known for its sandy bay that sits amidst the aquamarine sea and a blue lagoon. It’is also a prime location to explore other amazing tourist attractions from. In this video, we show you the best things to do in Ölüdeniz and its surrounding area.
7. Explore Fethiye
The 7th best thing to do in Ölüdeniz is to explore the city of Fethiye. Fethiye is a bustling city with many great restaurants, cafés, and shops scattered around the old town and the beach boulevard. In addition, the city has some historical features such as the rock-cut Tomb of Amyntas in the cliff face overlooking the city.
6. Butterfly Valley & Kabak
Right outside of Ölüdeniz you can find a handful of other lush, narrow valleys. Some of the most impressive ones include the Butterfly Valley and Kabak. You can get here either by driving or by doing a boat tour.
5. Explore Dalyan
At number 5 we have the nearby riverside town of Dalyan. This laid-back town is located about 70 km or 44 miles to the west of Oludeniz. It’s home to beautiful lakes and a winding river, dramatic Lycian tombs hewn into the rocks, and a unique stretch of beach.
4. Ölüdeniz beach & lagoon
The 4th best thing to do in Ölüdeniz is to visit the beach and the blue lagoon. This is probably the most photographed beach of Turkey's Southern Coast, famous for its varying shades of turquoise and azure, and soft sands.
3. Hiking to a viewpoint in Ölüdeniz
The most beautiful viewpoint of Ölüdeniz is along the long-distance Lycian Way hike. It’s a short hike that starts at the Montana Pine Resort and follows a wide dirt trail for about 2-3 kms. The views are absolutely breathtaking and you can walk as long as you desire.
2. Kayaköy Ghost Town
The second best thing to do is to visit the ghost town of Kayaköy, right outside of Ölüdeniz. Completely abandoned since 1923, Kayaköy is home to hundreds of stone houses slowly falling into decay. Today you can visit this hillside community and see the homes and churches that are still standing. Preserved as a museum village, you do have to pay a small fee to enter.
1. Paragliding
Our favorite thing to do in Ölüdeniz is to go paragliding. Ölüdeniz is known as one of the world's best places to go tandem paragliding because of its breathtaking panoramic views and favorable wind conditions. Babadağ Mountain, where you jump from, is also one of the highest commercial take-off sites in the world, with a height of 1960 meters or 6500 ft.

Autumn is one of the four Earth’s seasons that goes after summer and foreshadows winter. This season also can be called as Fall and it is about big changes in nature and environment. Autumn means a lot of fun and outdoor activities. It brings different colors to people's life – yellow, red, orange, brown and more. The temperature becomes colder, days shorter.
The Castle of Celles, known as the Castle de Vêves, classified as an exceptional monument, is one of the most remarkable specimens of 15th century military architecture. The castle is located on the hill which dominates and commands the old road from Dinant to Rochefort in Belgium.
Destroyed in 1200, rebuilt in 1230, the buildings burned down at the beginning of the 15th century and were restored after the fire. The castle remained a fortress until the end of the Middle Ages. During the Renaissance, a complete transformation of the buildings was carried out; later, under Louis XV, new modifications mainly concerned the interior design, woodwork, alcoves and wall windows. The plan forms an irregular triangle flanked by four large towers as well as two smaller ones
