Praia Velha Beach
It is an oceanic beach in the northern hemisphere, bathed in the Atlantic Ocean, and is situated in the municipality of Oeiras on the Portuguese coast of the Iberian Peninsula.
The northeast-facing Praia Velha Beach, often referred to as Praia dos Pescadores Beach, features a broad stretch of sand. A pier serves as protection for the south side.
A few meters from the shore, there is a water source with a geyser built into the sea.
Clube Desportivo de Paço de Arcos - Centro Náutico's facilities border the beach to the west.
Fishermen who leave their boats at the safe haven in front of the beach are the ones who frequent it the most.

Praia de Caxias Beach Cascais Oeiras Portugal Beach Walking Tour
Caxias beach is more sheltered from the winds that normally lash other beaches on this coast with greater severity.
Located in the municipality of Oeiras, Praia de Caxias is the closest to the city of Lisbon, benefiting from a great ease of access as it is next to the coastal road and right in front of the train station.
This beach has three sands areas, the largest being located between Forte da Giribita and the mouth of Ribeira da Lage, followed by two smaller ones separated from each other by Forte de São Bruno. With a beautiful landscape, Praia de Caxias is sheltered from the wind and is normally bathed by calm waters.

Fizemos uma caminhada um pouco diferente das caminhadas que normalmente fazemos. Nesta caminhada o Pedro Candeias guiou-nos pelos Trilhos de Sintra com Meditação. Começámos no Santuário da Peninha, seguimos para a Lagoa do Dragão Verde, Bosque do Silêncio, Adre Nunes, Bosque dos Druidas e Tholos do Monge.
