Sormano (Valassinese Lombard: Surman [surˈmãː]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northeast of Como. It is part of the mountain community of the Triangolo lariano, a local government with Canzo as its chief town and comprising the peninsula between the two branches of Lake Como.
Sormano borders the following municipalities: Asso, Barni, Bellagio, Caglio, Lasnigo, Magreglio, Nesso, Zelbio.
The Muro di Sormano is one of the most severe hills to have been used in road cycling. It is associated with the Giro di Lombardia.

BELLAGIO, Lake Como, Italy.
Bellagio called the Pearl of Lake Como, it is elegant tourist resort with lovely views, classy boutiques, a choice of restaurants and bars and frequent boat services it is a really one of Italy's top holiday destinations.
Bellagio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region of Lombardy. It is located on Lake Como, also known by its Latin-derived name Lario, whose arms form an inverted Y. The triangular land mass at the base of the inverted Y is the Larian Triangle: at its northern point sits Bellagio, looking across to the northern arm of the lake and, behind it, the Alps. It has always been famous for its location. It belongs to a mountain community named Comunità montana del Triangolo lariano (Larian Triangle mountain community), based in Canzo.
Bellagio is situated upon the cape of the land mass that divides Lake Como in two. The city centre occupies the tip of the promontory, while other districts are scattered along the lake shores and up the slopes of the hills. The great Pleistocene glaciations with their imposing flows coming from the Valtellina and Valchiavenna modelled the actual landscape of Lake Como: at least four times the glaciers went as far as Brianza to the south. From the ancient glacial blanket only the highest tops emerged, one of them Mount St. Primo, which obliged the glaciers to divide into two arms.
Nowadays, a luxuriance of trees and flowers is favoured by a mild and sweet climate. The average daytime temperature during winter is rarely below 6 to 7 °C (43 to 45 °F), while during summer it is around 25 to 28 °C (77 to 82 °F), mitigated during the afternoon by the characteristic breva, the gentle breeze of Lake Como.

Il lago di Como detto anche Lario, è un lago italiano naturale prealpino di origine fluvioglaciale ricadente nei territori appartenenti alle province di Como e di Lecco, i cui capoluoghi sorgono nelle due estremità meridionali dei rispettivi rami, composto da tre differenti comparti, popolarmente definiti rami: il bacino di Como e quello di Lecco, pressoché simmetrici, e il bacino di Colico più ampio situato a nord.
Posto a circa 50 km a nord di Milano, è il lago più profondo d'Italia, quello con maggiore estensione perimetrale e il terzo per superficie e volume: la portata del fiume Adda all'uscita del lago si aggira intorno ai 130 metri cubi al secondo, i quali derivano in gran parte dall'alto Adda (87 metri cubi al secondo) e dal Mera (23 metri cubi al secondo), mentre i rimanenti 20 derivano da corsi d'acqua minori. Le cave di marmo presenti nei dintorni del lago sono state essenziali per quanto riguarda la tradizione lombarda di scultori, scalpellini e architetti.
Rifugio popolare per ricchi e aristocratici fin dall'epoca romana, resta tuttora una delle mete turistiche privilegiate, tanto da essere stato annoverato nel 2014 come il lago più bello del mondo dal quotidiano online The Huffington Post, per il suo microclima e per il suo ambiente costellato da ville e villaggi di prestigio. Oltre a esser stato reso celebre da Alessandro Manzoni che sulla sponda lecchese ambientò il romanzo I promessi sposi, annovera un'imbarcazione a remi tipica che nel tempo è diventata simbolo stesso del lago: il batell, noto più informalmente come lucia in ricordo della fuga da Lecco di Lucia Mondella.
Bellagio è un comune italiano di 3 628 abitanti della provincia di Como in Lombardia. Il comune appartiene alla Comunità montana del Triangolo Lariano (con capoluogo Canzo) ed il suo territorio rappresenta uno dei vertici ideali del Triangolo Lariano.
Rinomato luogo di villeggiatura, è famoso per la sua pittoresca posizione proprio sulla ramificazione del Lago di Como nei suoi bracci meridionali, con le Alpi visibili oltre il lago a nord.
L'imprenditore Steve Wynn si innamorò del Lago di Como trascorrendo le vacanze tra Bellagio e Lierna assieme alla moglie Elain, e costruì un resort americano nella città di Las Vegas, aperto nel 1998, ispirato al Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni.
Il territorio di Bellagio è molto vasto ed oltre alla zona costiera comprende aree collinari e montane. Il punto più alto è Monte San Primo, che si sviluppa sino a un'altezza di 1.682 m s.l.m..
Il torrente Perlo è il principale corso d'acqua del territorio di Bellagio e nasce alle pendici del Monte San Primo ed attraversa in tutta la sua lunghezza la Valle del Perlo, sfociando nel lago presso la frazione di Guggiate.

I Corni di Canzo sono tre vette rocciose molto note all’interno del Triangolo lariano denominate: Corno Occidentale, il più alto con i suoi 1.373 metri, Corno Centrale, che misura 1.368 metri e infine Corno Orientale che si ferma a 1.232 ed è il più basso e semplice da raggiungere.
Il panorama che si può ammirare è decisamente ampio e comprende tra le numerose cime: Moregallo, Legnone, Legnoncino, Grignone e Grignetta, Coltignone, San Martino, Due Mani, Resegone, Ocone, Magnodeno, Barro, Cornizzolo, Bollettone, Palanzone e San Primo. Degna di nota è anche la vista sul lago di Como.

Lake Como has an area of 146 square kilometers (56 sq mi), making it the third-largest lake in Italy, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore. At over 400 meters (1,300 ft) deep, it is the fifth deepest lake in Europe, and the deepest outside Norway; the bottom of the lake is 211 meters (692 ft) below sea level.
Lake Como has been a popular retreat for aristocrats and wealthy people since Roman times, and a very popular tourist attraction with many artistic and cultural gems. It has many villas and palaces such as Villa Olmo, Villa Serbelloni, and Villa Carlotta. Many famous people have had and have homes on the shores of Lake Como.
One of its particularities is its Y shape, which forms the Larian Triangle, with the little town of Canzo as its capital.
In 2014, The Huffington Post called it the most beautiful lake in the world for its microclimate and environment with prestigious villas and villages.

A quick journey in Northern Italy
Spring has come, guys!
It would be a perfect season to visit Italy, unfortunately, tourism is still not allowed in our beautiful country.
