Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK

Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:

If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.

If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).

Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.

European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.

Norfolk Broads - Bramerton Common To Brundall

The time has come for us to head back to base, fuel in, pump out, clean up and try out the White Heron. We take a detour through Surlingham Broad to try to make the day last as long as possible but with an early start in the morning we had to get cracking

The time you spend watching my videos is very much appreciated and if you have any suggestions for improvement that don't involve me becoming a contortionist, please let me know.

???? The Norfolk Broads LIVE - Wroxham, Potter Heigham & Ranworth Broad

Join me as we do a LIVE walking tour of the world famous Norfolk Broads
We start the unedited live tour at the capital of the Broads Worxham

The twin villages of Wroxham and Hoveton sit either side of the meandering River Bure. Together known as the capital of the Broads, this community is the heart and hub of boating holidays on the Norfolk Broads.

Next we are in Potter Heigham which is one of the major boating centre's on the Norfolk Broads, with many boating holidays or day trips starting from here. The famous medieval bridge gives access to the Upper Thurne, Hickling Broad and Horsey Mere. The banks of the River Thurne at Potter Heigham are lined with waterside bungalows, which can only be accessed by foot or boat. There is the famous Lathams discount store located here, as well as a pub, chip-shop and newsagent. The main village itself is actually located the other side of the major A149 road and is mainly residential and quite separate from the boating centre, but does contain the lovely village church.

And finally we head to NWT Ranworth Broad which is a fantastic place with a beautiful church which we take a trip up the tower. Situated only 20 minutes outside Norwich, Ranworth contains a wide range of habitats and a fantastic variety of wildlife, all to be seen from 750m of boardwalk. Find our floating visitor centre, nestled in reeds, with amazing views out across the open water, at the end.

Greater Anglia full journey Norwich to Great Yarmouth via Reedham (Norfolk) 04/01/2024

Journey with Greater Anglia onboard 755407 as the 2C16 1135 from Norwich to Great Yarmouth via Berney Arms calling at Brundall Gardens, Brundall, Cantley, Reedham (Norfolk), Berney Arms and Great Yarmouth. Berney Arms is the only Greater Anglia managed station to not have Amy, the text to speech voice used at all other stations managed by Greater Anglia due to it only having very few train services per day as well as telecommunications issues as a result of it being located in the middle of nowhere. Only a few services go via Reedham (Norfolk) Berney Arms while others go via Lingwood and Acle. Thankfully the short platform at Berney Arms (front coach only) was announced!

Brundall Marina - via Breydon Water - Gt Yarmouth and back, 24 March 2012

A lovely early spring day out on the Broads in late March 2012, with some good shots of a splendid sunset across the River Yare. A round trip from Brundall Marina to Gt Yarmouth across Breydon water aboard 'Blue Magoo'.

37716 2P21 Great Yarmouth to Brundall Gardens & Norwich 4K

On board 2P21, with the 1317 from Great Yarmouth to Norwich. Great sounds and great detail in this 4k short summary of my trip over this 7 minute edit. 37407 is also powering from the rear. MAKE SURE YOUR SETTINGS ARE FOR 4K... Please share and see my other Class 37 videos!

Brundall Gardens Station 15/5/19

We visit the small station at Brundall Gardens and as you can see there really isn't too much going on at all, the station is firmly stuck in the 1960's and to match this up to very recently some services were hauled by a class Class 37. The station sits one stop out of Norwich heading towards Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.

We head to the GEML out of London Liverpool Street to capture the now replaced Class 315 units which for a time operated the TFL Rail network before it was all handed over to Crossrail we also capture some classic traction too!

We are diving back through the archives to see how much footage we had recorded but never was used so please don't mind the sporadic placing of the videos at the moment!
