Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale!!! I'm so excited to be working with @StagecoachBus company on this video in Torquay!! Thank you for your support on this vlog, it means so much to me that I can do things like this and show you all the things you can do in the South West.

In this vlog, I show you things to do in the Torbay area. Torquay, Babbacombe, Brixham and Paignton. We commute to and from these little towns via the Stagecoach open topped and close topped buses and honestly we had such fun!!

I travel from Liverpool to Bristol to meet my best friend in Bristol and then we drive to Torquay! I film us getting to Abbey Sands Hotel, we had such a great stay here! I show you a room tour at Abbey Sands. The room was massive and the hotel is so well situated it's literally at Torquay beach. I would highly recommend! We had breakfast at the hotel on the first morning, lots of choice. Then we walk to the beach were we pick up the Stagecoach open topped bus the 112 using our tickets on the Stagecoach app. The open topped buses are so much fun, we had incredible views, loved the breeze and it was so easy to get to and fro. Our first stop was at @minimaker123 ! Babbacombe model village was so good, much bigger and better than what we were expecting! I show you a couple of highlights. We have some snacks at the cafe and then we head out and walk along the beautiful Babbacombe ocean front. Back on the bus to Kents Cavern. This is a must do if you are coming to Torquay! Such a great experience. @Kents_Cavern back onto the bus but this time to Paignton! Paignton was a cute seaside town with a fun fair and lovely beaches. We had fish and chips and then an ice cream as we walk alongside the beach. There were these stunning brightly coloured beach huts along the coast! Back in Torquay now and we go to On The Rocks for dinner. We had some burgers and ice cream and head back to the hotel for the next day!
The next day we go for breakfast at Offshore Cafe and then it's time for our Raptor Ride and Torquay Watersports! @torquaywatersports4733 This was the most fun thing we did all trip!! I hope you like the footage!! We get ready for the day and then get the 12 Stagecoach bus to Brixham! We get Devon Afternoon cream tea at Liberty Cafe! it was the cutest little cafe! Scones were delicious. We look around Brixham a little more, loved the brightly coloured houses on the harbour. We got the bus back to Torquay and got off at Lincombe Hall Hotel. The spa was incredible and we had the most relaxing facials each! We get dinner at Amici Restaurant in Torquay, our favourite meal of the trip! I had the nicest lasagne! And that's a wrap on the most wonderful stay in Torquay! I hope you enjoyed the video and it gives you some ideas and recommendations of things to do in Torquay Devon!
Massive thank you to Stagecoach for sponsoring this video and making it so easy for us to get around!

Thank you all for watching, I really appreciate it!!!

Brixham Devon | Walk Around Brixham's Enchanting Old Town | top attractions in Devon

Walking Brixham in Devon, a beautiful harbourside town on South Devon’s English Riviera. A top attraction in Devon and popular choice for those looking for places to visit in Devon. Life here has always centred around Brixham harbour, where heritage trawlers jostle for space with day boats heading out to sea for the day’s catch, bringing it home daily to Brixham’s famous Fish Market.

Brixham Devon, is predominantly hilly and built around a picturesque natural harbour, which in addition to leisure craft, provides anchorage for what is now one of England's largest remaining commercial fishing fleets

Brixham isn’t just about fishing. It’s also a place where you can discover a range of arts and culture, excellent local food and some unique attractions. Brixham attracts visitors looking for things to do in Devon because of its character, charm and combination of tradition and an enthusiasm for contemporary styles.

A half-mile long breakwater protects the town from high winds and large waves.

Originally a Saxon settlement, Brixham was the landing place of William of Orange during the Glorious Revolution. He arrived with 40,000 soldiers, sailors and volunteers, prior to marching on London to be crowned King William III. Many of the town’s inhabitants, who are descendants of the Dutch army, have Dutch surnames. Many of the street names in Brixham reflect the town’s history, with some also bearing Dutch influences.

The annual Brixham Pirate Festival usually takes place over the early May Bank Holiday, and is known for its world record attempts, live music, free entertainment and for filling Brixham with pirates. The festival is a very large event in the town, with hundreds of residents viewing the festival yearly. Visitors are more than welcome to join in the fun.

If you like art, you’ll love Brixham. The town has a great range of art galleries featuring local and visiting artists. You can visit the artists’ corner on the Strand to see artists working. Brixham museum is packed with interesting exhibits from the town’s cultural and maritime heritage, while there are plenty of coastal tours and fishing trips by boat on offer if you want to get a taste of Brixham’s maritime heritage.

A landmark attraction of Brixham is the Golden Hind replica. A fascinating recreation of Sir Frances Drake’s flagship, you and your family can experience five decks of Tudor history and adventure. Best of all, the Golden Hind allows you to step into history, experiencing the real feel and atmosphere of the Tudor Age of Discovery.
Admission Prices: Adult Ticket-£7.95, Child Ticket-£5.95, Family Ticket-£21.95

Being a fishing port, you can expect a good choice of seafood restaurants in the Brixham area.

Coastal Walk and things to do in Brixham - A Day Out in Brixham

We start our day out in Brixham from Broadsands beach and walk along the South West Coast Path to Brixham.

We capture the sun as it rises over Brixham Harbour and then head along the footpath to Elberry Cove, a beautiful pebbled beach with an old bathhouse.

Celestey and I discuss whether we can hear a tractor or wasps as we head to the incredible Churston Cove where a seal graces us with its presence and poses for the drone camera.

We briefly pass through Fishcombe Cove as we walk along the harbourside into Brixham town center.

The first stop is the Golden Hind ship which is a full-size replica of Sir Frances Drakes ship that he used to circumnavigate the globe 400 years ago, and we then catch up with the legendary pirate Captain Blackheart of Brixham.

You can’t go to Brixham without trying fish and chips, so we have lunch and then head to the arcades to spend some money.

We headed on the one-hour wildlife tour from Brixham Habour and got to see more seals but sadly, the dolphins were not around.

The views from Berry Head are incredible, and we spent some time exploring the area before heading to Shoalstone tidal pool to jump into the cold seawater as requested by our VIP supporters.

Finally, back up to Berry Head to watch the sun go down.

Hello dear travellers and Welcome to Timeless Adventures!

In this video we take you on a cinematic aerial tour of Brixham which is a coastal town and civil parish in the borough of Torbay in the county of Devon, in the south-west of England. The colourful houses that surround the harbour bowl are the first things you notice. But the real stars of this town aren't the buildings—it’s the fish.

As one of the busiest fishing ports in the UK, Brixham has a long history of bringing in fresh seafood. Here, in the heart of England’s Seafood Coast, the freshest fish and most delicious seafood is on the menu everywhere.

But that’s not all this quaint town has to offer. There are plenty of attractions to keep the family busy: from the life-size pirate ship museum, the Golden Hind, that sits in the middle of the harbour, to the outside seawater lido, Shoalstone Pool, to the stunning views from the old Napoleon fort at Berry Head. Brixham is also the perfect place for a walkers and a doggy-break with the stunning South West Coast path allowing you to walk through woods and along cliff tops to a variety of local beaches.

A half-mile long breakwater protects the town from high winds and large waves. Why not take a stroll along the breakwater, and reach the lighthouse at the end. On the way back, relax on the Blue Flag Breakwater Beach. Brixham is fast becoming a cultural hub of Devon, with fantastic art murals covering many of the buildings throughout the town. Can you find the angel wings, the pirate map and the Leaning Tower or Pisa? With over 10 beautiful and huge murals to find throughout the town, it will keep you busy!

Brixham’s festivals and events are legendary with one of the country’s biggest Pirate Festivals attracting thousands of scallywags, and BrixFest that celebrates Brixham’s amazing and varied heritage. The annual Brixham Pirate Festival takes place each May, where people of young and old will be dressed in their finest pirate fashions, a spectacular sight to see, and visitors are more than welcome to join in the fun.

If you're looking for an authentic taste of England, look no further than Brixham.
