Burlington Waterfront is a a must see place in Burlington. It is also one of the top 10 places to visit in Burlington. It is conveniently located and is a small detour when you're on the way to Niagara Falls. It has something to offer for all age groups all year around. The waterfront area is divided in to four primary areas which are Spencer Smith Park, The Brant Street Pier, Discovery Landing and Beach Way Park.You can walk along the promenade at Spencer Smith Park and enjoy a cold treat from the nearby ice cream shops or walk along the Brant Street Pier and enjoy the breath taking views of
the lake, Burlington Skyway, the abundance of birds etc. During the summer you can enjoy the sun and build sand castles at the Beach Way Park. You can also visit the 14200 sq ft

Brantford is a city in Ontario, Canada, founded on the Grand River in Southwestern Ontario. It is surrounded by Brant County but is politically separate with a municipal government of its own that is fully independent of the county's municipal government.
Brantford has situated on the Haldimand Tract, a traditional territory of the Neutral, Mississauga, and Haudenosaunee peoples. The city is named after Joseph Brant, an important Mohawk leader, soldier, farmer, and slave owner. Brant was an important leader during the American Revolutionary War and later after the Haudenosaunee moved to the Brantford area in Upper Canada. Many of his descendants, and other First Nations people, live on the nearby Six Nations of the Grand River reserve south of Brantford; it is the most populous reserve in Canada.
Brantford is known as the Telephone City as the city's famous resident, Alexander Graham Bell, invented the first telephone at his father's homestead, Melville House, now the Bell Homestead, located on Tutela Heights south of the city. Brantford is also known as the hometown of Wayne Gretzky.

Walk along Burling Waterfront | Burlington Pier, The Naval Ships' Memorial Monument,waterfront Hotel
Burlington waterfront should be on your list of must see places in Ontario. I would recommend this to even to international tourist. It's 20 minute drive from Toronto. Parked my car at the Waterfront Hotel parking lot which will set you back by 2$ every half hour or 10$ for the day or if you get there in the evening, it's like 5$ for overnight parking. You will need at least a couple of hours, so paying the full 10$ is definitely worth it in my opinion. I found out about Burlington Pier not so long ago. I drove by this area countless times and had no clue that this existed. The Pier was first opened in June of 2013. It stretches' quite a bit (137 meters) into Lake Ontario. Currently you can't go up the stairs since it's closed off due to Covid-19 but you can still walk along and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Ontario and the Burlington Skyway.
Every night the beacon in the middle lights up with different colors to commemorate nationally recognized events. Make sure to subscribe to my channel. I will be taking lots of videos in the upcoming months. Their opening hours varies throughout the year and you can visit their website for more details.
I couldn't help but notice the beautiful condo that is being built by the shore and I think the owners will be happy for that spectacular view it offers.
I made my way to the The Naval Ships' Memorial Monument, located in the Spencer Smith Park.
I talk about this briefly on the video, we have so much to see within Canada and some of the places are within reach. So my hope is that during this covid-19 shutdown is to see as many places as I can see locally while I learn to shoot with my Sony FDR-AX33 camera. I will upload more videos and post the links here.
Burlington Waterfront - The Brant Street Pier, Ontario, Canada
Burlington's Downtown Waterfront is a unique destination during the summer. The redevelopment of the area was completed in June 2013.
In Spencer Smith Park, the main attraction is the Brant Street Pier which extends 137 metres over Lake Ontario, providing breathtaking views of the lake and Burlington's shoreline.
The beacon on the Brant Street Pier is lit each night with colours. The lighting choices are based on nationally recognized events.
