Muntii Bistritei | Bulevardul ursilor, nemarcat spre creasta
⚫Vreme posomorâta peste tot in tara, ne-a rămas varianta sa facem ceva pe la noi prin jud.Neamt fără sa ne îndepărtăm prea mult. Și cum ne plac traseele noi, am ales sa mergem in muntii Bistritei, sa ajungem pana la traseul de creasta și poate pe vf. Budacu( cel mai înalt varf din muntii Bistritei). Ajunși in satul Borca și mergând o porțiune pe un drum forestier, am luat-o după GPS de-a dreptul prin pădurea abrupta și drumuri forestiere. Urmele de ursi ne-au întâmpinat de la începutul traseului pana când zăpada a devenit mai abundenta. In golul alpin ne-am oprit la o stana pentru o mică gustare după care ne-am reluat traseul. Nu avea sa mai fie mult pana in creasta dar după o porțiune scurta parcursa începusem sa ne afundăm in zăpada. Am făcut un ocol prin dreapta pe lângă pădure, aparent părea un drum forestier dar tot ne afundam in zăpada. Am împins la zapada o buna porțiune pana pe creasta( marcată) unde zapada era la fel. Așa ca ne-am hotărât sa coboram, oricum ne atisesem obiectivele, mișcare, creasta. Ne-am reoprit la stana sa ne relaxam lângă un foculet și ne-am reîntors aproape pe același traseu evitând porțiunile abrupte, directe prin pădure și am coborât pe noi drumuri forestiere unde au fost extraodinar de multe urme de ursi chiar pana la drumul forestier principal, circulat de mașini. Nici nu am zis ca nu o sa ne întâlnim cu vreun urs in ziua aceea. Ne-am sincronizat cu Marian care se dusese la schi in Vatra Dornei și venise sa ne ia. Inițial trebuia sa urce și el cu noi dar nefiind aproape deloc zăpada la începutul traseului nu s-a riscat sa urce.

Our way home from Zagreb to Arad, Romania / Croatia Moto Trip Day 8 - S1. Eps.21
20.August.2020, Day 8 - Our way home to Arad, Romania from Zagreb, Croatia trough Hungary with our Transalp 650 and BMW 1200GS
The awakening was at 7:00 AM. We left Zagreb quite late, around 10:00 AM. We stopped for breakfast, had coffee, etc. The exit from Zagreb was quite crowded. Around 13:00 PM we arrive at Barcs Customs (where we left Hungary at 13.August) and were we are very surprised when after passing the Croatian customs officer, we arrive at the Hungarian Customs, there being no cars in a row and he tells us relaxed that here you don't enter Hungary to be able to transit to Romania ... And that we can only enter at Leteneye or Mohacs. I quickly searched the alternative route on google maps for the Letenye variant, and I see that it gives us almost 11 hours... Pfff. Then I studied the map a bit more and saw that in fact it is closer to Mohacs and we don't go around so much. So that we go on the Croatian side, not through Hungary. I reconfigure the route and went to Udvari Customs (Mohacs). In about 2 hours we was beyond customs, about 15 cars in a row, great heat. After about 15-20 minutes we reach the line, enter Hungary without problems and continue our way home, still having almost 300km to do. After passing Baja, in Csavoly Commune we stop to eat at Texas Restaurant. This is the only one of many others on the side of the road. There was something festive about them, everything was closed. We ate a very good and honest BobGulas and we continued our way home through Szeged, and from here we went to enter the Turnu Customs in Arad. Being lighter, without congestion. Just when the sun goes down, around 21:00 we arrive in Arad. 650 kilometers for this day. And a total of 2250 km in the 8 days.

Wiki: Neamț Citadel (Romanian: Cetatea Neamț or Cetatea Neamțului) is a medieval fortress located in north-eastern part of Romania, near Târgu Neamț, Neamț County. It was built in 14th century Moldavia during Petru I of Moldavia's reign and expanded in the 15th century. The citadel played a key role in Stephen III of Moldavia's defense system, along with Suceava, Hotin, Soroca, Orhei, Tighina, Chilia and Cetatea Albă.
Lack of reliable information on the origins of Neamț Fortress had resulted in several hypotheses whose reliability was often questioned. A number of historians and philologists, as A.D. Xenopol, B.P. Hasdeu, D. Onciul consider that - according to the papal bull of 1232 - the Teutonic Knights of Bârsa had built between 1211–1225 on the eastern slope of the Carpathians a castrum muntissimum which was later identified as the citadel. The Germanic (Teutonic or Saxon) hypothesis was acquired by many of Romanian historians and sustained by both: -the site's onomastic Neamt, which in Slavonic and Rumanian languages means German -and by the fortification style, typical to Imperial German military architecture of Hohenstaufen period XII-XIV centuries. The German knights the Saxons have been appointed to fortify the Carpathian passes against the frequent barbarian incursions into Transilvania. The Saxons have been settled in Transilvania (Siebenbürgen- seven castles) since then, 150 years before the founding of later principalities of Valachia and Bogdania(Moldova).
Archaeological research of the citadel has not revealed any evidence of a fortification before the reign of prince Peter II (1375-1391) & oldest coins discovered on the site are from the same reign. The name might be related with the name of the district and later county of Neamț where later ( i.e. early 14th century) Saxon colonists settled in the nearby town of Baia (known then as Moldau).

Toamna in Munţii Căpăţânii [Drone FHD]
Filmare a Munţiilor Căpăţânii toamna, realizata de pe Platoul Padeș, comuna Polovragi (județul Gorj). Pentru a ajunge aici, poti urma traseul montan Mănăstirea Polovragi - Cheile Oltețului - Platoul Padeș (1.085m) - Mănăstirea Polovragi, un traseu care se intinde pe 10 km, cu o urcare totala de 650 m. Pe platou este localizata Crucea lui Ursache (ridicata in anul 1808), o marturie a existentei capitanului de plai Ursache. Clip realizat cu o drona DJI Mavic Mini.
