My FAVORITE CITY in Russia? | Kazan, Tatarstan
Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia - Our third stop on our journey across the entire country of Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railway is Kazan.
We arrive early on the train from Moscow to Kazan and head straight out to the Blue Lake of Kazan.
We go scuba diving in the Blue Lake and then head back into the city of Kazan, capital of the Republic of Tatarstan for lunch and exploration.
We try traditional Russian and Tatar food and then explore the Kazan Kremlin and bustling Bauman Street in downtown Kazan.
The next morning we take a boat from kazan to the ancient capital of Bolgar, where we visit the old city and go inside the White Mosque.
From there, it was back into Kazan to catch the Trans-Siberian Railway once more - this time, we're heading into the Ural Mountains!

My name is Daria and I live in Moscow. I decided to make a little trip to Kazan for one day.
Some facts.
Kazan is the sixth most populous city in Russia.
It is one of the host cities for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Population of Kazan is more than 1 243 500.
Kazan lies at the confluence of the Volga and Kazanka Rivers.
There are 2 official languages in Kazan: Russian and Tatarian. And they have 2 presidents.
Kazan’s subway has 10 stations.
There is an Aero express from the airport. It takes 30 minutes to get to the center. It costs 40 rubles, in comparison, in Moscow a ticket for aero express costs 500 rubles.
You will see many historical buildings, the beautiful Volga river, taste national sweets and dishes, meet calm people.
In comparison with Moscow this city is calm, the air is fresh, and the prices are lower.
Most interesting places are concentrated in the center of Kazan. Let’s start our trip.

THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN (Kazan) and NIZHNY NOVGOROD
We are leaving Moscow to visit Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan!
In Nizhny Novgorod we were able to visit its beautiful Kremlin and board onto one of the longest ropeways in Europe, then we continued our journey and visited Kazan which is located in the Republic of Tatarstan where we were able to visit one of the most beautiful mosque of the country.
As we decided to move to Russia, we chose to board the transsiberian from Moscow and visit as many cities as possible before we decide in which city we will settle down.

Bolgar นั่งเรือไปกลับจาก Kazan | Russia GNG ss5 ep.18
Bolgar เป็นเมืองเก่าตั้งแต่ยุคคริสตศตวรรษที่8-15 ได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกโลกตั้งแต่ปีค.ศ.2014
ในช่วงยุคโซเวียต Bolgar แห่งนี้ได้เป็นศูนย์รวมของชาวมุสลิมทีไม่สามารถเดินทางไปทำพิธีฮัจที่เมืองเมกกะได้ ก็เลยมาทำพิธีที่นี่แทน
วิธีเดินทางที่ง่ายที่สุดคือ ไปขึ้นเรือที่ท่าเรือในเมืองคาซาน ซื้อตั๋วเรือไป Bolgar ซื้อวันไหนก็ไปวันนั้น ซื้อล่วงหน้าไม่ได้
เวลาเรือออกก็ไม่แน่นอน อยู่ที่ 8-9 โมง ใช้เวลาเดินเรือ 2.30 ชม.
เวลากลับ 15.40 น.
พอไปถึง Bolgar จะมีรถเมล์ต่อเข้าไปในที่เที่ยว มีบ่อยๆ ทุกชม.
ที่เที่ยวจะมีหลักๆ 2 จุดคือ White Mosque กับ Bolgar Museum จะมีกลุ่มซากวังและโบสถ์
