There are a number of films here on the packaging industry. That is not to say that the other countries are forgotten, they are not, but obviously there is less going on. However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region and the site gives a pretty good idea where future films are going to come from! Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!

Time for another in the 'Secrets Of...' series, this time we're up in Newcastle on the brilliant Tyne & Wear Metro system.
The yellow and black trains scuttle around the 60 station network in and around Newcastle, Tyneside, Gateshead and Sunderland - and we have a look at interesting and fun facts that you may not have know about the network.

I have lived in the Tyne and Wear region of the U.K. all my life. Having travelled around the world, there is no place like home. Living in the Tyneside town Gateshead, you're only a ten minute walk from Newcastle. The city is known as a party town with a plethora of shops, Eldon Square and is also known for the MTV show, Georgie Shore.
The city has so much history, beauty and bridges. There's lots to see and do as a tourist. On this lovely warm morning, I decided to take my new Gimbal camera and take a stroll into their city. I start off by walking to the Tyne Bridge. Ending on Redheugh Bridge.
I do apologise for the bad angles. This was the first time I used my new camera and I'm still getting used to it! :)

The Quayside is a lively stretch along the River Tyne, home to the landmark Gateshead Millennium Bridge. The opposite bank is dominated by the modern BALTIC art gallery and the steel curves of Sage Gateshead, a popular concert venue.

St James' Park.
St James' Park is a football stadium in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It is the home of Premier League club Newcastle United F.C. With a seating capacity of 52,305 seats, it is the eighth largest football stadium in England.
St James' Park has been the home ground of Newcastle United F.C since 1892 and has been used for football since 1880. Throughout its history, the desire for expansion has caused conflict with local residents and the local council. This has led to proposals to move at least twice in the late 1960s, and a controversial 1995 proposed move to nearby Leazes Park. Reluctance to move has led to the distinctive lop-sided appearance of the present-day stadium's asymmetrical stands.
Besides club football, St James' Park has also been used for international football, at the 2012 Olympics, for the rugby league Magic Weekend, rugby union World Cup, Premiership and England Test matches, charity football events, rock concerts, and as a set for film and reality television.

Haydon Bridge Station 10/9/18
Our stations from our three day visit when we ventured back up to Newcastle to just to cover the last remaining stations on the Tyne Valley Line, along with some more least used stations including Tee Side Airport and British Steel Redcar, this all took some fair planning but we pulled it off! We finish our week in Yorkshire with some more least used stations, enjoy!

This is a Vlog of a trip made on a LNER Azuma from Doncaster in Yorkshire to Wylam in Northumberland. Wylam on the Tyne valley is a beautiful little village and I can recommend a trip to Blaydon and then a wander along the river bank before having a pint in the Boathouse in by the station at Wylam.
