Thank you LDRRMO (Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office) of Binalbagan, Negros Occidental for accompanying us to the accident site and to the falls.

I had wished to one day see the spectacular Bambi Falls of Binalbagan. I had heard of how dangerous the trail was, so I was discouraged but Bambi Falls was still in my wish list. May 26,2018 when I finally crossed it out of my list due to the tragic event that took place that day, that dimmed the light of home.
On June 9, 2018, my family and I was able to visit the site of the accident and light a candle thanks to the LDRRMO, we used the same car that rescued my uncle, it was as if he was with us on our journey to visit the site where his light was dimmed forever.
We went up to the falls that he was eager to see, he was so happy when he reached the peak of the mountain, and we saw the reason why. The falls was truly magnificent, my camera may show otherwise but standing there and being there is different from just watching through the screen.
Thank you for everything Tito. We will forever miss you.

today friends, we GO TO Bambi Falls, located in the Municipality of Binalbagan. the following shown is the route once you start the climb, a vehicle with good ground clearance is necessary because the roads are not yet fully developed. Some dirt roads and the occasional mud parts make up the trail.
nice trail for you 4x4 bois...
also shown is the foot trail leading to the waterfalls, the actual falls, and the glorious pool beneath it. On the journey back to lower ground greets us with fog, which made the trip back more special for us who reside on a tropical climate.
