Hi everybody!
We spent 4 lovely days in The Ardennes, Belgium. This time we brought our tent for some very relaxing moments at the banks of the Amblève river. We love the outdoors and really enjoyed making this relaxing video.
The Ardennes region covers a little bit of each of three countries: France, Belgium and Luxembourg... between magical forests, spectacular landscapes, inviting valleys, ancient fortresses, and picturesque towns and villages…

De Laddertjeswandeling in Rochehaut - Belgische Ardennen
Wil je eens een legendarische wandeling maken in de Belgische Ardennen? De laddertjeswandeling in Rochehaut (nabij Bouillon) is een unieke wandeling die je nooit zal vergeten en zelfs opnieuw zal willen maken. In dit filmpje probeer ik een mooie indruk te geven over deze korte maar pittige hike die voor outdoorliefhebbers blijft tot de verbeelding spreken. Forrest Stroll near Saint-Hubert (Ardennes, Belgium, 4K)
A stroll in the Forêt de Saint-Hubert: it is a big Forrest near Saint-Hubert (the European hunting capital). The Stroll starts roughly 2km from the city center.
You will see trees, and more trees...well it is a forrest...a dark and wet forrest...

Herbeumont, Viaduc de Conques L163A, Semois, Ardennes - GoPro MAX
The old railway bridge Viaduc de Conques (or Viaduc d' Herbeumont), was built around 1902 for the construction of railway L163A. This railway line was to form a connection between Bertrix (Belgium) and Carignan (France). Because the railway was no longer used, the rails were removed long ago and the route is now a walking route La Voie des Pierres qui Parlent.
This Viaduct over the river Semois consists of about 9 million bricks, has 7 arches, is 38m high and 150m long and has been renovated after years of decay. This viaduc is near the trail GR16. And underneat lies the campingspot Arnocamps.
De oude spoorbrug Viaduc de Conques (of Viaduc d'Herbeumont), werd omstreeks 1902 gebouwd voor de aanleg van spoorlijn L163A. Deze spoorlijn zou een verbinding vormen tussen Bertrix (België) en Carignan (Frankrijk). Omdat de spoorlijn niet meer in gebruik was, zijn de rails al lang geleden verwijderd en is de route nu een wandelroute La Voie des Pierres qui Parlent.
Deze viaduct over rivier de Semois bestaat uit ongeveer 9 miljoen bakstenen, heeft 7 bogen, is 38 meter hoog en 150 meter lang en is na jaren van verval gerenoveerd. Dit viaduct ligt vlakbij de GR16 (Sentier de la Semois) en is ook de verbinding naar de oude spoortunnel Tunnel de St.-Cécile. Onder de tunnel ligt de mooie kampeerplaats Retrocamping Arnocamps 'Le Champ le Monde'
L'ancien pont ferroviaire Viaduc de Conques (ou Viaduc d'Herbeumont), a été construit vers 1902 pour la construction de la voie ferrée L163A. Ce chemin de fer constituerait une liaison entre Bertrix (Belgique) et Carignan (France). La voie ferrée n'étant plus utilisée, les rails ont été supprimés il y a longtemps et le parcours est désormais un itinéraire pédestre La Voie des Pierres qui Parlent. Ce viaduc sur la Semois se compose d'environ 9 millions de briques, compte 7 arches, mesure 38 mètres de haut et 150 mètres de long et a été rénové après des années de délabrement. Ce viaduc est situé à proximité du GR16 (Sentier de la Semois) et est également le raccordement à l'ancien tunnel ferroviaire Tunnel de St.-Cécile. Sous le tunnel se trouve le magnifique camping Retrocamping Arnocamps 'Le Champ le Monde'

Bertrix & Vicinity / I Will Love Again-Lara Fabian
(Eng/Pol) Bertrix is a Walloon municipality of Belgium located in the province of Luxembourg, in the heart of the plateau of Ardenne. The villages forming Bertrix are very ancient, and remains of Celtic settlements have been found in the region.
Bertrix jest walońskim miastem belgijskim i znajduje się w prowincji Luksemburg, w samym sercu płaskowyżu Ardeny. Wsie tworzące Bertrix są bardzo stare i pozostałości osad celtyckich zostały znalezione w tym regionie.
Camping Les Cabrettes, Ardennes Belgium Good Beer, Good Chill
Somewhere deep in the Ardennes, and just a stone's throw from Bertrix is a small village and an old-school campsite. Lovely to stay here at this time of year, and a good restaurant on site. Also in close proximity to the Orval brewery, so we had to try a glass!

Dear viewers. Welcome to our first venture out into Belgium.
Before you go into shock about the low quality of this video, let me share some background. Don't worry, we won't be taking steps backwards in regards to quality. This is a video I have been editing on and off for the past 3 years. Back then, most of my videos were still Full HD 1080p. The plan was to see if there was any interest in Belgian railways and if there was, we'd start recording in 4K.
Well, we'll be getting 4K videos from Belgium now if you like it or not - but I still wanted to release this as a teaser and because a lot of work went into it. Whether or not it was worth it is up to you - but I think we'll be covering this line again in the future in 4K. So for the viewers with large 4K televisions - stay tuned.
Our train today started in Muizen (roughly between Brussels and Antwerp) and will continue to Gallerate in northern Italy. It's interesting seeing the places they run through, before they transit through Switzerland on one of the two alpine crossings we're familiar with - or possibly Austria.
If you're wondering about the changing colours and curved text on the bottom of the screen - this isn't a professional camera. It was just a test. Future videos will be in the quality you've gotten used to until now.
