Omišalj & Njivice - Island of Krk, Croatia!
Omišalj is a coastal municipality in the north-west of the island of Krk in Croatia in the Adriatic Sea. , The municipality also includes the nearby village of Njivice. Omišalj is the only settlement that can be seen from all sides in the Bay of Rijeka. At an altitude of 85 meters, on the northwest side of the island of Krk dominates almost three kilometers long bay. Such a convenience has caught the eye of prehistoric inhabitants, and the life of Omišalj has lasted for tens of thousands of years. There are wonderful beaches near Omišalj that will amaze you with the crystal clear water of the Adriatic sea in Croatia if you are first time on Krk.
Njivice, not far from Omišalj, has always been part of the Omišalj castle, and today the Municipality of Omišalj. Probably the place was inhabited in ancient times. They are first mentioned in written sources in 1474 in the deed of gift of Prince Ivan the Seventh Frankopan. For the past centuries, it was a small Krk village whose inhabitants were mainly engaged in fishing, olive growing and animal husbandry, as well as forest exploitation. Houses along the coast, boats and fishing nets, cassettes full of fish, have been a recognizable image of Njivice for centuries. Today, Njivice is a tourist center with modern accommodation facilities, dominated by hotels, and a campsite protected by the shade of deciduous trees. In Part 2, we explored the amazing Italy. Now it's time to head out onto the open road and explore some of the most beautiful coastal towns Croatia has to offer.
We'll travel the length of the Adriatic Highway, stopping at quaint villages and stunning coastal towns along the way. Come along for the ride and see why this road trip is one of the best things you'll ever do!
In this episode we cross the border with Croatia after driving through seven countries and tackling almost 3000 miles!
We drove along the entire south coast of Croatia all the way down to Dubrovnik and back.
We stopped at some beautiful coastal towns, such as Omis, Ston, Padaca and crossed the sea on the ferry to the island of Brac and stayed on the campsite in an amazing little town called Bol.
We had a fantastic time. Croatia is truly amazing.

Gradski Bazeni Beli Manastir i Bazeni Kneževi Vinogradi!
Beli Manastir je grad u istočnoj Hrvatskoj. To je glavni grad hrvatskog dijela Baranje, smješten u Osječko-baranjskoj županiji. Pored mnogih znamenitosti, u njemu se nalaze i gradski bazeni Beli Manastir koji pružaju građanima osvježenje preko ljeta. Bazeni su temeljito rekonstruirani 2020. godine a u sklopu njih se nalaze i tereni za mini golf i badminton. Posjetitelje bazena Beli Manastir će dočekati paviljoni s ležaljkama, među kojima tri obiteljska.
Kneževi Vinogradi su naselje i općina u Hrvatskoj. Nalazi se u Osječko-baranjskoj županiji, na južnim padinama Banskog Brda, 11 km jugoistočno od Belog Manastira. Glavna zanimanja seljana uključuju poljoprivredu, vinogradarstvo, stočarstvo (farme mlijeka) i mliječnu industriju. Tamo se nalaze bazeni Kneževi Vinogradi. Ljeti spas od tropskih vrućina na SRC-u Kneževi Vinogradi, popularno zvanom Suljoški bazeni, potraži i više od 1.000 kupača za dan.

¿Sabias que desde 1870 existe una conexión ferroviaria entre Hungría y Croacia?
Y por fin, Estado Natural Viajero sale de las fronteras de Croacia, y nada mejor que hacerlo en tren hacía Hungría. Si nos fuéramos en línea recta de Osijek (Croacia) a Pécs (Hungría), el recorrido serian unos 67 kilómetros, cercano pero sólo hipotético al tener sólo unos pasos fronterizos entre ambos países.
Desde esta zona Croata es posible cruzar por tierra en tres puntos y por tren que es una excelente opción, un paso que cubre la distancia de poco más de 100 kilómetros. En la que muchos jóvenes que estudian en ambos lugares y turistas ocasionales tienen la posibilidad de hacer este maravilloso viaje en cerca de 3 horas por las detenciones en frontera. Batina, Baranja, Danube River, Croatia
Batina (Hungarian: Kiskőszeg) is a port village on the right bank of the Danube in Baranja, Croatia. Its elevation is 105 m. Administratively, it is located in the Draž municipality within the Osijek-Baranja County.
Batina is located on the D212 state road connecting the village to the city of Osijek. In 1974 the road bridge over the Danube was built. It is a state border crossing.
Battle of Batina Monument: The village is known as the site of World War II Battle of Batina which took place from 11 to 29 November 1944. It was a battle between the units of the Red Army and the People's Liberation Army against the Wehrmacht Nazi Regime and their allies. Today, a memorial site commemorates the battle which was one of the bloodiest World War II battles on Yugoslav soil.
