Spain is brimming with exciting cities, but Barcelona has a broader list of things to do than virtually anywhere else in the nation. Being entertained when visiting Barcelona is simple thanks to the diverse selection of activities.
Barcelona has renowned museums, historic buildings, and even natural beauties that surround the city. Because of this, it is without a doubt regarded as one of Spain's top tourist destinations. Additionally, the beachfront city is home to some of the world's top spots for dining, drinking, and partying. So, a lunch or evening that will change your life is never far away.
10. Park Güell.
The Park Güell area in Barcelona, like much of the city, is a vibrant collection of buildings and open spaces. The park, a piece of early Gaudi art, is as vibrant as it is intricately designed. Count Eusebi Güell first introduced a failed home development to the city in this location.
Number 9. Bar Marsella.
Every old city has a historic pub, and Bar Marsella is that bar in Barcelona. The unifying factor among all these old taverns is that Ernest Hemingway frequented them. Bar Marsella offers a little more than just Hemingway; Picasso also frequented the establishment.

As a well-known destination for foodies, Barcelona offers up some of the best Paellas you can find in Spain. One of the most well-liked day trips from Barcelona is to Montserrat, a breathtaking mountaintop hamlet that is only a little over an hour's drive from Barcelona. There are various reasons why the location is highly coveted and well-known.

Barcelona's premier covered market is called La Boqueria. There are a ton of possibilities because it is a huge market. There, you may purchase top notch jamón to go or some delectable street cuisine.

Iberian ham from Spain is famous around the world for good reason. It is one of the best foods you can consume on the globe. Even for natives, the many Spanish cured ham grades might be bewildering. Generally speaking, higher prices correspond to higher quality.

In terms of parks, Citadel Park is one of the largest and most impressive in Barcelona. North of the Barri Gothic in Ciutat Vella is where you may find it. Although it is currently a tranquil green area, the park's history was initially somewhat violent. In 1714, when Phillip V of Spain ruled Barcelona and Catalonia, he constructed a fortification there and gave it the name Citadel.

Although Sagrada Familia is more of an attraction than a museum, we believe that it should be included on any top Barcelona lists. With this distinctive and renowned church, Antonio Gaudi had his work cut out for him in terms of redefining what gothic is. Undoubtedly something to be aware of when visiting Barcelona.

5 Things American Tourists Shouldn't Wear in Europe

Heading to Europe & Not Sure What to Pack? Here are a few things that my fellow US travelers may want to avoid packing if they are traveling to Europe.
1. Baseball Caps: Europeans in general do not wear baseball caps, especially backwards. You would be better served to wear a more traditional hat. You will see an occasional NY Yankee hat, but why not buy the fancy hat you always wanted instead?
2. Athletic Wear: Europeans tend to wear athletic wear to do sports, not to wear around town. There is a trend of more athleisurewear in Europe, but it is not to the extent that there is in US.
3. Khakis: the omnipresent US male pant choice is not something you will see too often in Europe. Go for colored pants or jeans. If you want khaki like pants wear Chinos instead of Dockers. The pants you will see are a thinner cut or skinnier fit than in the US.
4. Oversized US University Sweatshirts.
5. Sport Shoes or High Heals: US sport shoes and white socks are not quite as popular in Europe as they are in the US. You may be better off with Urban Street shoes like Vans instead. Also, women should be careful with high heels as with all the cobblestone it is easy to hurt your ankles.
