We start in Banff Town, exploring the Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka, and sample the local food, whilst keeping an eye out for bear sightings. Each hike is accessible within a one-hour drive at most from the town of Banff to the trailhead. All of the hikes are located within Banff National Park except for Mount Assiniboine, which starts in Banff National Park (Sunshine Village) and then crosses the BC / Alberta border a couple of times throughout the trek.
