Today we’re taking you around a city that we’ve been to many times before: Chiang Mai. Located in the heart of Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is a growing city with laid back vibes, temples sprinkled around every corner, and a foodie scene that will make you drool. This is a destination where you come to unwind and that’s exactly what we did during our month long visit. Now let’s get started with this tour of Chiang Mai (清邁) so you can see what this city is all about:
One of the best things you can do in Chiang Mai is ditch the map and get lost inside the old city. It’s along the quiet back lanes that you’ll find cozy cafes, terracotta gardens, unvisited temples, and a little flavour of the old Chiang Mai.
As you’ve probably figured out, we’re not really into nightlife, but Chiang Mai does have lots of bars where you can enjoy a drink or two. We kept things light with a Chang beer.
And that’s a wrap for our visit to Chiang Mai, Thailand. We hope this video gave you a little taste of what this city is all about. We’ll be the first to tell you that we barely scratched the surface in terms of everything Chiang Mai (清迈) has to offer, but that being said, the goal of our time here was to relax, eat well, see friends, and catch up on work. The weather in Thailand is quite hot in general. The average daily minimum is 79°F in June in Thailand (the month that I filmed this video), and the hot bath temperature is regularly over 122° F. Because of human heat tolerance, we’d like to suggest taking a break while taking the hot bath.

Shops Around Roundabouts in UDON THANI, THAILAND
I've shown you tourist attractions in Udon Thani. Today, I'd love to show you other parts in Udon Thani that others haven't explored. I guide you to the areas nearby three roundabouts in Udon Thani, Thailand. They're all unique and fun to walk around.
First, the Fountain Roundabout, you'll also hear people in Udon Thani call it, Ha Yaek Nam Pu, which means fountain five-way intersection. Sometimes people here call it fountain roundabout, but to call it both ways is pretty common here.
Second, the Clock Tower roundabout is a location that has many restaurants, shops that always has visitors. On the road I walked, if you don't feel like walking, there is enough space to park cars. But if it's a rush hour, it probably takes some time to find the spot though.
Third, Kromluang Prachak Sinlapakhom Monument is the roundabout that I always drive past, it feels heartwarming every time. Anyway, the food at Soi Kratoey is good, and there is a lot to see if you're new here.

Nong Khai
Nong Khai is a long thin province running along
the Mekong River, providing the main access to Laos. Originally people went by boat from Tha Sadet, but the building of the Friendship Bridge across the Mekong has made Nong Khai a major centre for transport and trade with Laos.
Attractions include Wat Pho Chai, renowned for its large seated Buddha believed to have been cast in Lan Chang, and Phra That Nong Khai, an old chedi that slipped into the river and can now only be seen completely in the dry season.
Sala Kaeo Ku is a bizarre sculpture garden packed with statres of Shiva, Vishnu and Buddha as well as many other figures from Hindu and Thai culture. Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary near the Mekong River contains a number of beautiful waterfalls.
Nong Khai is 615 kilometres from Bangkok and has an area of 7,739 square kilometres. It consists of the following districts: Mueang Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Phon Phisai, Tha Bo, Sangkhom, Seka, So Phisai, Si Chiang Mai, Phon Charoen, Pak Khat, Bueng Khong Long, Si Wilai, Bung Khla, Sa Khrai, Rattana Wapi, Fao Rai and Pho Tak.

Exploring Wat Pa Phu Kon (temple in Udon Thani)
In this very shaky and occasionally out of focus video we drove to Wat Pa Phu Kon which is a forestry preservation in Na Yung forest. Seeing the temple once we reached the top of the steps was breathtaking as the gold and blue tiles were so vibrant. It was a hot and exhausting journey there but once we reached the temple the atmosphere was cool and breezy since it was at the top of a mountain. Later on during my time in Thailand I went back to explore a smaller temple lower down the mountain which although smaller in size was equally as beautiful. This temple was a lot quieter with less tourists but the atmosphere was very serene and peaceful so I took my time looking around.

The Best day trip from Bangkok - only a 2 hour train journey! ????
This is the best day trip from Bangkok not to say that it is perfect. It's a quick and simple journey, one where you can be back in Bangkok in time for sunset. Ayutthaya has plenty to offer, ancient ruins cover the entire city. Take a leisurely stroll, hire a bicycle or take a taxi for the fastest way around.
DaVero Travels aims to show you our honest review of what we experience on our journeys, this trip to Ayutthaya is a good example of just that.
????????We do not include everything that we witness in person for the sake of the video as the scenes with the elephants are distressing. Despite the downside brought forward of this video, we hope that you enjoy the beauty that is the ancient city.
