I continue my walk along The Heart of England Way. Starting at The Queens Head Pub on the outskirts of Meriden where we finished in part 9. We head to the beautiful village of Berkswell and then finish up at The Saracens Head on the outskirts of Balsall Common.

Introducing Sutton Park - Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games venue
As Official Overlay Supporter to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, GL events UK is delighted to be providing temporary infrastructure at Sutton Park, which will host triathlon competition at Birmingham 2022.
Sutton Park was selected as the ideal venue for the Triathlon and Para Triathlon events with Powell’s Pool, the park and local roads providing the ideal topography required to host the three triathlon disciplines.
Located six miles north of the city centre, the park is a 2,400-acre national nature reserve and is one of the largest urban parks in Europe. It is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
At 28 acres, Powell’s Pool is the biggest of seven lakes at the park and was originally created in 1730.
The recreational use of Sutton Park started in the 19th century with two horse racing courses created while a 18-hole golf course was set up in 1889.
The park has open heathland, woodlands, seven lakes, wetlands, and marshes - each with its own rich variety of plants and wildlife, some rarely seen in the region. Cattle and wild ponies also graze on the land.

The Sparkhill district has a large Pakistan and Indian population Birmingham most popular High street Stratford Road. All kinds of shops are present on Stratford Road Birmingham, You can have a lot of taste of spicy foods around on this road. Almost each shop belong from Pakistani people. So you can have an idea you are visiting in Pakistani Bazars. But you are in Britain where you can enjoy all famous foods in Pakistan like Paye, Nihari, Pakoras, samosas etc.
