3 Days in Bandarban | Travel Video
Last year, September 2020, I went to visit some parts of Bandarban in my Bangladesh Trip. Bandarban is a district in South-Eastern Bangladesh, and a part of the Chittagong Division. It is one of the three hill districts of Bangladesh and a part of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, the others being Rangamati District and Khagrachhari District.
In my short 3 days of trip, I visited and stayed in Boga Lake for one night. The experience was surreal! And knowing about the mysterious Boga was hauntingly thrilling too. From living the night under tinshade cottages and listening to raindrops on it all night to bathing in the lake, everything was beautiful!
Next day, we hiked and saw the Chingri Waterfalls. Would never know the feeling of sitting under a waterfall is so heavenly if I never did this before! Then we went through Darjeeling Para to the Keokradong Peak! Got lost in the clouds with the beauty of Keokradong! Whatte beautiful sight and place to spend a day and also night! For the amazing sky full of stars at night and hide-and-seek playing of clouds throughput the whole day! Last day we took a boat through Sangu River and visited Rijuk Waterfall and then returned home through the same route we took to get there. The whole trip was breathtaking!
Bandarban will be remembered!
Only one-fourth was covered in this trip, untill next time!

Bandarban:
Bandarban lies, by bus, eight hours away from Dhaka, two hours from Chittagong and three hours from Cox's Bazar. It is also possible to get there by a six-hour bus ride from Rangamati. The waterfall named Shoilo Propat at Milanchari is one of popular place tourists like to visit. The numerous Buddhist temples, known as kyang in local tongue, and bhihars in the town include the highly notable the Rajvihar (royal vihar) at Jadipara and the Ujanipara Bhihar. Bawm villages around Chimbuk, and Mru villages a little further off, are also lie within a day's journey from the town. Prantik Lake, Jibannagar and Kyachlong Lake are some more places of interest. Boat ride on the river Sangu is one of the main attractions here for tourists.
Hillside Resort:
The Milonchhori Hillside Resort is conveniently located only 4 kilometers from Bandarban town on Chimbuk road. We have accommodation facilities for 50 persons in various categories, including air-conditioned cottages, tribal houses, and dormitory. All cottages and houses have attached bathrooms, most cottages with running hot water. The restaurant “RESTORA RIGRRE KHYANG” is located near the entrance.
SAIRU Hill Resorts:
SAIRU Hill Resorts is set against the spectacular greenery covered hill range of Bandarban in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Sairu has conveniently located only 18 km away from Bandarban Town on the hill slopes at the Y – junction of the road from Bandarban to Chimbuk. It takes approximately 40 – 45 minutes to drive through this interesting hilly terrain on a road that ascends and descends along the curves of the hills.
