The beauty of Haiti not shown on television. When it comes to Haiti, the international media always go to the worst area of Haiti giving the country a bad image and scaring potential tourists. Although it is true that Haiti is very poor but there are beautiful places to go, things to do or to see. The country is beautiful and has a lot of potential. I predict Haiti will be once again the pearl of the caribbean in years to come. The problem with Haiti is that it lacks a caring government and investments. Haiti has been brain drained. Most rich and professional Haitians have left Haiti. Hence the Haitian diaspora lacks caring people who are willing to come back and help the country. There are 6 smaller islands belonging to Haiti. All of them with impressive beauty and pristine beaches.

En ce jour de l'indépendance, 1er janvier, 215e anniversaire, voici ma vidéo hommage au Sud d’Haïti lors d’une visite touristique familiale.
Ma destination vacances : Haïti !!
Hein? Pourquoi? Pourtant ce questionnement provient souvent principalement de la famille, amis, personnes d’origine haïtienne ou non qui ne connaissent évidemment pas la beauté du pays et toujours autant négligée par les médias.
C’est la raison principale pour laquelle j’ai décidé de rendre public ce voyage d'aventure.
Pauvreté et misère …Oui, il y a des fatras... des tas de fatras concentrés à la capital; Port au Prince.
Un pays rempli de surprises certes, manque d’infrastructure, manque d’opportunité, des zones géographiques susceptibles de catastrophe ou d’instabilité politique mais un endroit où l'on peut définitivement passer de belles vacances.
Ce qui me fascine en plus de la beauté physique des lieux naturels et authentiques, c’est la saveur de la nourriture. La meilleure des caraïbes.
Depuis mon dernier séjour, quelques mois auparavant, moi la «québécoise» j’avais juste envie d'y retourner, juste partir à la découverte.
La musique Kompa est omniprésente en Haïti, de l’aéroport aux marchés de Port au Prince.
Pour nous, les habitués des complexes cinq étoiles impeccables, il y a bien sûr des manques (Exemple : absence de réfrigérateur dans les chambres) et beaucoup d'avantages : Plage déserte sans algues , peu bondée entourée d'une mer d’un bleu turquoise (sans Photoshop). Paysage magnifique.Souvent, on se croirait inclus dans un paysage féerique tellement c’est irréel. Selon CNN Top 100 plus belles plages du monde, La plage de Abaka Bay Resort classée 57ème parmi les plus belles plages du monde.
J’ai tenté d’afficher un peu de tout des différentes chambres d’hôtels à ma table.
