????????⛰️I was walking around the city of Tomioka, Gunma Prefecture (群馬県), Japan (日本).
“As of 1 September 2020, the Tomioka city had an estimated population of 57,013 in 20,367 households, and a population density of 390 persons per kilometers. The total area of the city is 122.85 square kilometers (47.43 sq mi). It is the location of the Tomioka Silk Mill, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.” from Wikipedia.
Basically, I walked around the downtown area of the city.
Tomioka is well known as Tomioka Silk Mill which built in 1872 (04:40).
It’s the world heritage site.
“Tomioka Silk Mill (富岡製糸場) is Japan's oldest modern model silk reeling factory, established in 1872 by the government to introduce modern machine silk reeling from France and spread its technology in Japan. The factory is designated by the government as a National Historic Site and all its buildings are preserved in very good condition. It is located in the city of Tomioka, Gunma prefecture, Japan, about 100 km northwest of Tokyo.” from Wikipedia.
I guess because of Coronavirus, Not many people were walking around the street. Hopefully, everything is gonna be ok soon.

We started our tour from 7 am and we started from Ikebukoro station. We drive through Saitama prefecture to Gunma.
Saitama prefecture is relatively plain land with lush green fields while Gunma is mountainous and the view is breathtaking.

This video is about a ski trip to Karuizawa. Prince Ski Resort is very close to Tokyo and a convenient ski resort. This gives you the opportunity to experience bullet train which takes you from Tokyo to Karuizawa in 65-80 mins and is fully covered by the Japan Rail Pass.
You can take ski lessons if you are beginner and enjoy the day trip. Nearby the resort is a park, Snowman Park which is suitable for the kids with many fun filled activities. After enjoying here, you can do a shopping at the famous Prince shopping plaza that has stylish complex of high-end designer-brand outlets, cafes & restaurants in a landscaped setting.

・群馬フラワーハイランド
1万5000坪の花と緑のハイランドです。緩やかな山一面に観賞できるコースになっていました。山頂で撮影した梅、つつじは未だ咲いておりませんでしたが8万本の花木、20万本の水仙が咲き浅間山や妙義山も見えてとても素敵な場所でした。祝日にもかかわらず空いていましたので気兼ねなく撮影することが出来ました。季節限定（1月中～5月中）までの公開です。5月からは、つつじ、八重桜、ふじ、シャクナゲなど5月中まで楽しめますので足を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか。

お寺の中を公開しているようです。残念ながら今回は中から撮影はしておりませんが外から枯山水庭園を撮影させて頂きましたが、枝垂れ梅といい綺麗に管理されていました。

・少林山達磨寺
1697年に少林山達磨寺を開創し、十一面観世音菩薩が本尊として祀られていて、子授け・安産・厄除けにご利益があるとされています。
だるま発祥の地としても有名ですが、ブルーノ・タウト（建築家）が日本に亡命して日本に惹かれていく様子がHPに記載されていました。その時に生活していた場所が洗心亭のようです。
彼の言葉として、「私は日本の文化を愛す」として碑も残されております。

おとぎ話の「ぶんぶく茶釜」のお寺として有名です。
総門から山門に続く参道では21体の狸像が参拝客を出迎えてくれます。
また、本堂に「ぶんぶく茶釜」が置かれています。

I don't want to be held back by my friends' availability and other factors sometimes ???? Of course I love travelling with friends, but sometimes going solo is good and can be fulfilling in different ways ???? Especially this trip, as if I didn't go when I did, I think all the snow would have started melting
I think Japan is the best country to travel alone in, especially as a female ???? I really never feel unsafe, especially in the countryside! I will mention that I speak Japanese, so felt a lot more comfortable doing these random expeditions to places on countryside bus timetables. Regardless, I think everyone can manage a bit, especially with the help of Mr. Google ????

大阪市有形文化財・史跡の名園【加賀屋新田会所跡・加賀屋緑地】穴場の紅葉の名所
大阪市の南の端、大和川近くの加賀屋新田会所跡に行きました。小堀遠州流の築山林泉回遊式庭園や数寄屋風の建物が一部現存し、大正時代に「愉園」と名づけられ大阪名園の一つになっています。
１１月下旬に行った時、紅葉のころに来たらきれいそうだったので、１２月初めに再訪したら、紅葉がきれいなのに空いていて、ゆっくり紅葉を楽しめました。
