C'est parti pour une belle petite promenade mes amis. On marche dans le centre-ville de Amos, la toute première ville de l’Abitibi, et qui fut baptisée à juste titre comme étant, le berceau de l’Abitibi. La ville qui compte aujourd’hui un peu moins de quinze mille d’habitants, a été le premier point de colonisation en Abitibi en raison de sa situation privilégiée le long de la rivière Harricana.

Hello and greetings from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia where in this travel guide we plan to highlight some of the top things to do for visitors! We recently spent a week road-tripping the island and what an adventure that was! This was our fourth summer exploring Nova Scotia, and this time around we focused on southern Cape Breton, specifically the area between St. Peter’s and Port Hastings. Here is our Cape Breton Travel Guide covering some fascinating things to do in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I think this is a really interesting area to visit because it is very accessible. Port Hastings is the first town you hit if you’re crossing via the Canso Causeway (the only land access point to the island!), so it’s a logical starting point, and it makes a lot of sense for travellers who want to see a bit of Cape Breton without having to drive too far.
We spent our week in southern Cape Breton doing an iconic sail from lake to sea, feasting on seafood at every meal, tackling different hiking trails, and enjoying the warm hospitality the island is known for.

Mahone Bay ended up being one of our favourite destinations that we visited on our epic Nova Scotia, Canada road trip. One of the things we loved the most was just how charming the town is and how easy it is to get around on foot. After parking our car we ended up being within walking distance of all the churches, museums, restaurants, cafes and breweries that we wanted to visit. Another aspect that is great is that you have many nearby trails, islands and beaches worth checking out. You can spend time enjoying the charming town and then head out into nature to make the most of your day. We found locals very friendly and had many pleasant conversations. Overall, Mahone Bay left a tremendous impression upon on us not only as a travel destination but as a great place to potentially live. If you're visiting Nova Scotia be sure to add Mahone Bay to the list of must-visit destinations on your schedule.

Greetings from Mahone Bay. This is a place we've been wanting to visit and it is like a 10 or 15 minute drive from where we're staying in Lunenburg. Very convenient and very easy to access. We are continuing our road trip along Nova Scotia South Shore and today we're spending the day here in Mahone Bay. So far our impressions of this place is just that it is incredibly charming. It's the most relaxing town. We're just gonna explore on foot all day.
And that was our day trip to Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. We took the scenic road back to Lunenburg along the lighthouse coastal road driving past mater's cove and detouring to herman's island where we spotted a deer. It was so peaceful and such a beautiful part of nova scotia. It really won over our hearts on this trip. Seaworld Killer Whale Show Goes Wrong
One Ocean killer whale show from 29th March 2018 which went slightly wrong during the 'Side by Side' section of the show when the whales starting fighting instead of performing as planned. As explained by the staff, the fight was a rise against the dominant whale, however, she fought back and fundamentally laid a bite on the tail on the other whale before the staff managed to intervene.
This small show of aggression from the whales just goes to show how powerful these amazing animals are!
