Uneori, poveștile sunt conturate de scurte și simple însemnări. Sâmbătă, 28 octombrie, de la ora 11:30, la #IstoriiAscunse, pe #TVR1, Cristina Băincan ne-a propus să vizităm bisericile fortificate din Agnita și Cisnădioara ca să le aflăm istoriile
În acest punct al călătoriei prin Transilvania, observăm că bisericile fortificate reflectă nivelul de bunăstare a unei comunități, iar Agnita și Cisnădioara sunt exemple de biserici fortificate aflate în opoziție; una aparținând unei comunități prospere, cealaltă uneia greu încercate. În același timp, descoperim legende locale care stau la baza unor obiceiuri ce sunt practicate și astăzi.

Sighisoara | A Quick Tour of a Gorgeous Medieval Town
The medieval town of Sighisoara is a Transylvanian fairy tale that very much deserves your time, so I thought I’d present you with this quick travel guide of what to see and what to do when visiting this beautiful place. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999, Sighisoara is home to a beautiful citadel on a hill, with brightly coloured houses, a fourteenth-century clock tower, a long covered staircase and lovely views whichever way you turn. It’s also the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the historical inspiration for Count Dracula, so you’ll find plenty of Dracula souvenirs, too. Romania doesn’t get much more picturesque than this, so come with me as I explore this medieval gem!

RO Satele transilvane cu biserici fortificate constituie un sit în Patrimoniul Mondial UNESCO, deoarece s-a considerat că oferă o imagine plină de viață a peisajului cultural din sudul Transilvaniei. Satele din această zonă sunt caracterizate de un sistem specific de cultivare a terenului, un model de așezare și organizare a gospodăriilor țărănești păstrat încă din Evul Mediu.
